It's a batting average that won't land the federal marketplace for Obamacare into the Healthcare Hall of Fame.
As few as 1 in 100 applications on the federal exchange contains enough information to enroll the applicant in a plan, several insurance industry sources told CNBC on Friday. Some of the problems involve how the exchange's software collects and verifies an applicant's data.
"It is extraordinary that these systems weren't ready," said Sumit Nijhawan, CEO of Infogix, which handles data integrity issues for major insurers including WellPoint and Cigna, as well as multiple Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliates.

O Bomb no care!
Wow...it is high time we all stand up and say hell no. Go to hell you socialists. We have had it with your continued plunder of the wealth of hard working citizens. It time for a new nation with strong taxation limitations. Will probably take Jesus to institute it...he is returning soon. I have had it with these communist do gooders!
The train didn’t even get out of the station before it derailed!
“the federal marketplace”
In a free society, there isnt supposed to be a “federal marketplace”.
They should have put their fake voter experts on this. Maybe 99% of those registered for medical care would have been fakes or dead people, but at least it would have looked better than this.
I can see the numbers now. CNBC announcer: “503% of the citizens of Baltimore have already registered for Obamacare, and it’s hardly off the ground yet!”
Critics warned it wasn’t ready. Obama & Co assured everybody it was ready. It wasn’t. And it won’t be ready on Monday.
They must have hired Mitt Romney’s IT crew.
Its all part of the conditioning of the social mind of America...
I could not even create an account to look at the plans. It accused me of using the same word for each “secret question” answer. Guns, Religion, and Bible seemed to be answers it did not want.
The answer is to lie
The whole deal is a lie. It is therefore right and proper to lie to get service
If there is no law, there is no law
Okay now we will try the landline # 1-800-318-2596 listed above or 1-800-318-2596 = 1-800-FAU-CKYO.
But the IRS will have every applicant’s name and SSN.
All nobamacare signup websites are simply a big net with which to catch the uninsured and assess fines on them.
Epic Fail is right. I have filled out applications online (not for Ocare) and it surely can’t be that hard to get it right. Other companies do it all the time.
We have a cancer policy through Aflac that I do everything online except fax copies of the doctors visits. Jeez how hard can this be?
“I have had it with these communist do gooders!”
Let’s start by no longer referring to them as that; they only “do good” with our money, not their own.
We’ve reached a point where takers out-vote makers; nothing short of breeding will rectify this (while the daily import of new takers has to stop).
The debacles are just beginning and will have a ripple effect across the economy. Not to mention peoples lives.
I guess the web site developers never saw or used one of those web pages that requires you to fill in all the fields, and when you don't returns you to the form with a red asterisk next to the field you forgot to enter. I guess they found programmers who had never used Amazon, or booked a hotel room or airline tickets on line. And then, being the government, they hired them.
I’m thankful it’s failing right out of the gates and not after becoming entrenched.
Personally, I believe 0care has been used just like SS is used as a political pawn to go on and on and on...by the dims and the RINOs. Hence the symbolic votes from the old maniacal Republicans (McCain, Graham, and their pals). Disgusting.
I sincerely pray our country has been spared these megalomaniacs having another ping pong political bomb to use against the American people.
LOL! “DON’T OBAMACIDE ME BRO!”
da da da da daaaa
i’m lovin’ it
