All benefit payments are made with incoming tax cash, or by printing money to cover IOU’s. All SS trust fund assets are IOU’s

Exactly!
This story is so easy to tell I’m hoping rush tells it on Monday. Why we can’t get it across is a mystery to me! We have the money. The sums are small compared to the money we take in without borrowing. There should not even be a default discussion unless that is the plan of the regime. It absolutely does not have to happen! Just from the numbers all we need is to keep giving out the numbers, we win they lose.

...almost all government employees are bureaucrats and many are unionized, they have a thousand ways to put “pressure” on the rest of us to sustain their quite comfortable situations. In other words, we now work for them in the form of our tax dollars that pay their benefits and salaries, and any efforts to join TEA parties, fight back, etc., are met with bureaucratic government measures, like spending money they don't have
