Read an article not that long ago by one of his former followers - a female. She told of how - back in the day - she was verbally bullied into having sex while Ayers watched. Not wanting to do it but trying to be a good little revolutionary she did it and all these years later finally came out with the truth about what a disgusting person Ayers is.

And well over half of the so-called “Christians” have happily given him a pat on the head.
If she could find him walking a back road in Alaska, I am sure she would consider making him road kill.
Has more to do with being a public figure. Defamation is nigh unto impossible to win once your name is out there as part of the public discourse. Free speech issue. About the only realistic recourse is more free speech, I.e., Ayers putting out articles and interviews in an attempt to rehabilitate his reputation.
It only matters if the low information voters are influenced by this.
Otherwise it’s just name calling.
