The CCHD Archdiocese of Milwaukee 2011 local grant recipients are Casa Romero Renewal Center; Daystar Inc.; Dominican Center for Women; Layton Boulevard West Neighbors Inc.; Project Return; and ProLife Wisconsin. The 2011 national grant recipients are Racine Interfaith Coalition; Project Return; Common Ground of Southeastern Wisconsin; and Milwaukee Inner City Congregations Allied for Hope (MICAH).

Facts about how the Milwaukee Archdiocese got itself into a position where it facilitated the funding of an organization which so clearly and directly defies Catholic teaching.

Fact: The state of Wisconsin passed its insurance mandate (forcing prescription drug insurers to cover FDA-approved birth control including abortifacients) in 2009.

CONCLUSIONS:
The Milwaukee Archdiocese’s unholy alliance with Common Ground created a situation in which national CCHD could fund the healthcare coop knowing full well that the organization would play a significant part in making FDA-approved “contraceptives”, including abortion-inducing drugs, available in Wisconsin. To anyone who would say “We didn’t know,” I would say “You didn’t know because you didn’t want to know and because you have cast your lot with these Alinsky organizations.” Can it possibly be more obvious that continued support of groups such as Common Ground, however innocent their individual projects might be, will result in scandal after scandal?

The Catholic Campaign for Human Development has long been a leftist Catholics funding vehicle for leftwing organizations.

The Capital Research Center put out a newsletter about them in the 1980’s. They might still have a copy around that could be posted for all to copy.

Check Google for their website but it should be “Capitalresearchcenter.org”.

Matthew Vadum is their top researcher and does a great job of exposing the leftist funding operations in the US.
