Mandeville, LA Its a new Gun Talk giveaway, a pastor that carries in church, high risk restaurants in North Carolina, info on the Springfield Armory XDs recall, and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
Performing double-duty this week, Pete Brownell, of Brownells Inc., stops by to announce the next Gun Talk Giveaway, and talk about The Brownells Way campaign that they recently launched. The Brownells Way includes a series of videos throughout the month of October, special pricing on select products from their shotgun parts and gunsmithing supplies, plus marked-down Brownells AR-15 and 1911 magazines. Enter to win at http://www.guntalk.com/win, and read about the new campaign at http://www.shootingwire.com/story/300451. At the end of August, Springfield Armory issued a recall on their 3.3 XDs handgun. Springfield Armorys Denny Reese drops by with info on the recall, and how you can send your XDs in for repair. The information is also posted at http://springfieldrecall.com/.
Paul Valone, President of Grass Roots North Carolina visits on Sunday to discuss the recent expansion of North Carolinas concealed carry law that allows carrying into restaurants and on campus. Opponents of the law have been encouraging businesses to post signs prohibiting carrying. GRNC responded by launching the High Risk Restaurant Project, to allow supporters to report restaurants that do not allow guns, and to support restaurants that do. To find out more, visit http://www.grnc.org/find-posted-restaurants.
Dr. Eduardo Gonzalez, Pastor of Linwood Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA, recently did an interview with KSLA News, explaining why he, and some of his congregants, carry concealed in their church after a pastor in another part of Louisiana was shot in church. Read the story here: http://www.ksla.com/story/23572230/local-pastor-packs-pistol-to-protect-his-church, and tune in Sunday to hear more from Dr. Gonzalez. Also on this Sunday, Mike McNett, owner of DoubleTap Ammunition, stops by with info on the new website, interesting ammunition, and more. Check it out at http://www.doubletapammo.com/!
Pow!!
FReepmail to get On/Off the Gun Talk Pinglist.

NOTE: I was listening to the original broadcast this afternoon, on a midwest station, while working on a sidewalk stone base.
During the Springfield XDS recall interview, there's a technical "glitch", and the streaming players skip all over the place.
Stop your player, and re-start it; that will fix the problem. GT has spliced-in another interview in its place, so it's a bit disjointed.
Thanks for the heads up.
GunTalk!!
YEAH!!
Howdy Mr Flagg.
Good evening to you, too.
Just hoping to hear more about the XDs recall.
My Wife’s missing her pistol. It’s been about 28 days since we sent it back to Springfield.
All will be revealed, but carriage hill says the XD segment is a bit bunged up.
Greetings from where my vote counts.
ouch!
Howdy Clint!
I would love to go pheasant hunting in Iowa. Maybe I should call my wife’s cousin...
My wife’s aunt lives in South Dakota and pheasant hunting is like dove hunting, they’re everywhere. And EVERYONE hunts them.
Has some good stuff going on HK and PPS43
has some rare stuff on Polish Beryl and tons of HK
BANG!
You know, I still ain’t opened those spammers fulla Mosin chow...
Let’s go before 0bama shuts down the airlines and the interstates!
I had a Bulgarian AK74 sporter follow me home from Widener’s this past week. I opened a box of non-corrosive 5.45 x 39 to feed it and discovered that the cartridges are a tad longer than a 5.56 x 45 round! How can that be? Isn’t the “39” the length of the bullet?
I ordered the $3.99 aftermarket PPS43 sling and got the real WWII sling in very good condition.
3, 35 rd mags at $9.99
HK G3 slings are 5 for $9.99 and are almost as new
Robert RTG has the Beryl stuff.
Only source in the country as far as I can see.
Howdy!
No Texans game tonight?
RTG still has those Sig bayonets. I need to order one of those before they’re gone.
The projectile is longer.
It’s a tumbling SOB.
Congrats on the Bulgy 74
If one orders the $49.99 kit, where do you find a receiver and barrel for it” I like that 7.62 x 25 cartridge for small arms defense.
The second number is the length of the case.
The 5.45X39 is more bottlenecked but the projectile is longer.
I mean casing...
RTG gets the rare stuff stacks it deep and sells it cheap.
39mm is the length of the case, IIRC.
I could not tell you, but the PPS43 builds are fixing to come to an end.
Evening Mr RandallFlagg & welcome!
The outrage over JJ Watt's nose has caused a boycott and general shutdown.
Actually.. season three of The Walking Dead became available on Netflix and football can bite me.
Frozen pizza and zombies.. BOOYAH!
I watched the Bengals today and it was ugly but they won.
Watched the Cows and it was ugly and they lost.
Oops those were 10 rd mags here is the same deal in original 35 rd mags.

Pow, with home made vanilla ice cream and a brain sneeze.
Heya Dave!
It’s bit late in the season for home made ice cream.
Still...
Yum.
Butter Pecan could be on order.
2 years ago this was $399 with 2, 40 rd mags, bayonet and bayonet frog.

It is very cool.
Cool lug.
Hi Dave!
I’ve been sneezing all day since the cold front came through. The cooler weather sure is nice though.
The old G3 Bayonets lugs were cool too.
The cleaning kit resided below it.
Hey frog, man I cut the grass today and have been sneezing ever since.
At least we turned the A/C off and opened windows. Power bill should go down.
Who makes that? Does it have an adjustable piston/op rod?
I was sneezing prior to the front coming through.
Eyes a watering..
Sweet blessed cool front!
Cedar is rampant though.
Tom to talk about the recall this hour.
