So, it's against the law to "hurt morale"? Are they even trying to claim the book is untruthful?
I believe that this is a preemptive strike against the flood of tell-all books that are no doubt being written for publication in 2017. The Dems are broke and there won’t be enough money to pay everyone off and without being in power, no cushy jobs to pass out. And, the world has room for only so many talking heads.
It is going to be like giving laxatives to a rhinoceros with a bad combination of Monezuma’s revenge AND constipation.
It would actually help morale if an investigation rocked the management in that agency. Morale at BATFE is already rock bottom. Who wants to work at a place where your boss is coercing you into committing a crime which your agency is supposed to be stopping. Even after F&F imploded the people running the op got moved, not fired. I bet every smart line agent is keeping book on their supervisors. Not a healthy working environment.
I’m pretty sure every court in the country would shield the BATF from getting its feeling hurt. They’d better have more than that to whine about. HEY -—ATF-—just come clean on F&F and the book won’t be a problem for you.
Their "reason" for blocking publication pretty much guarantees that the book is truthful. They're obviously afraid of it.
