Yes, really. I know Guthrie's songs were socialist/communist protest songs but he had an undeniable poetic talent and some of his lyrics (not the entire songs) have merit apart from his propaganda. This Land is Your Land... is one of them. I don't think it's necessary to dismiss Guthrie's talent and songs entirely because of his politics.
