The fabric of our entire nation is being torn to bits by what I call the "fringers," the small groups that have taken over as the mouthpieces of their organizations. They march to their own drums and drown out any dissenting voices. The most notable one is the Republican Party which is being held captive by the tea partiers, one of the most destructive entities that has ever bollixed up our democracy that has endured for so many years since its exciting creation.
There have been roadblocks in the past, most notably the Civil War, but at no time has there been such despicable selfishness as is being displayed in the efforts to destroy President Barack Obama and his updating of the plan to advance medical health for all.
Most of the billionaires in our nation are Republicans and they have been generous to all the organizations that want to keep unemployment high and the welfare of the poor, the sick and the aged as low as possible.
They are against worker unions, food stamps, immigration reforms, abortion, medical research, education implementation and anything else that might drain even a penny from their enormous wealth.
They have potent spokespersons in both the Congress of the United States and on Fox so-called News. They have had their ups and downs but multi-millionaires like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly surprisingly have a solid base of middle- and lower-class listeners.
Reactionary politicians like Michelle Bachmann, Ron Paul and Sarah Palin can raise the rabble to extraordinary heights. But the hottest guy in the ranks of the self-proclaimed righteous is a 42-year-old Cuban-turned-Canadian-turned-American named Rafael Edward "Ted" Cruz, the junior senator from the improbable state of Texas.
Cruz right now is the darling of the fortified tea party ensconced in the forefront of the Republican Party that is clamoring for blocking Obama at every turn and twist, notably the Affordable Care Act now commonly known as Obamacare.
It is conjectured that by his present actions Cruz hopes to be the presidential nominee of the Republican Party in 2016. He has obviously seen the scuttling of ACT as the strongest possible means to satisfy his ambition. He doesn’t care that the United States government was brought to a screeching halt that endangers every aspect of our economic life and our worldly influence.
He did this by a theatrical faux-filibuster that lasted 21 hours and 19 minutes. His speech was a meandering journey through Dr. Seuss and Nazi Germany, White Tower miniburgers and a list of Obama "mistakes and misrepresentations" to shock one and all. To do this he controlled his urinary and bowel systems and wore his black "argument" tennis shoes.
Now Sen. Cruz is no dummy bleating simple grunts and groans. He was his high school valedictorian. And graduated cum laude from Princeton where he was a great debater. He then graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School where he was an editor on the Law Review. One of his professors, the famed Alan Dershowitz, declared that Cruz was "off the charts brilliant."
Cruz served as a law clerk to Chief Justice William Rehnquist, became an adviser to Palin as well as the Bush-Cheney administrations, is against abortion and for full-fledged gun rights. He said of his Senate speech he would talk "until I am no longer able to stand " but was stopped dead by a formal House call while still being vertical.
According to a Huff poll, 69 percent of the Republicans questioned said that they thought Cruz had made an important point. Americans in general thought, by a 41 to 32 percent plurality, that the speech was "an unnecessary stunt." But at least now everybody knows who Ted Cruz is. In that way he gains some sort of victory and hope for the future.
I personally despise him for what he is trying to do and may accomplish. The amount of damage that people like him can achieve is close to unbelievable.

They Commies, like Obama, who lied their way into office are the “fringe” and radicals. I am tired of our conservative politicians keeping quiet about that.

This guy is a novelist by profession. He wrote some book that became a movie “Jory” that came out in 1973. The guy is about ninety years old.
If he didn’t matter and wasn’t going to have an effect and most people didn’t agree with him they wouldn’t be so afraid.....be afraid liberals...be very afraid!!!

One need not read the whole article... there ARE two Americas. The one they wish to impose on the one we wish to protect. Yes we are enemies. Yes our America does pose a threat to their desired Statism. We are rising up, perhaps finally, before the point of no return. Let us not shrink from their shrill vocalizations, let us take a stand against their marauding mob actions. Let us prosecute evil doers; the black mob violence that is sweeping our nation; the Statist’s goal of supplanting National Patriotism, God and Country with moral degradation; let us rise to prosecute the evil that is firmly planted in the white house, department of justice, and the general bureaucracy of the land. Let men of good will finally see that there is an evil that can no longer be tolerated. When America, will you stand and reclaim that which God has given to mankind, freedom and the obligation to protect that freedom...

“The fringers?” You mean the majority of elected federal congressmen who don’t want Obamacare? Only a small majority in the Senate is keep it back.
Even if you add all the democrats in the House, the President, and the Vice President, those that DON’T want to defund Obamacare are still a minority.
