Skip to comments.Obama Disobeys the Law of the Land (CINC - Criminal in Chief)

The Democrats are chanting that Republicans must fully fund Obamacare because it is the law of the land, passed by Congress, signed by the president and upheld by the Supreme Court. Therefore, they say, it must be obeyed and can't be altered by Republicans who want to defund it.
That argument is both wrong and hypocritical. Any federal law can be changed, repealed, amended or defunded by our legislative branch of government, Congress.
The Republican House wants to deal with the controversial huge "continuing resolution" bill in separate pieces, giving the OK to worthwhile federal spending purposes while leaving others (like Obamacare) without funds. Obama refuses to negotiate and demands a "clean" (blank-check) bill; his position is all or nothing-at-all.
Actually, the Supreme Court decision did not give a "clean" upholding of Obamacare. The Court effectively rewrote the law by allowing states to opt out of Medicaid expansion, and other pieces of Obamacare are still being litigated in federal courts, such as the mandate that employer-required insurance must include objectionable abortifacient drugs.
Obama's hypocrisy about the issue of considering Obamacare in pieces is obvious from the many times he has unilaterally messed with other matters that are clearly the law of the land. He has frequently refused to enforce other laws of the land he doesn't like, and he pretends to legislate laws that Congress declined to pass.
Welfare reform is truly the law of the land; it was passed by Congress in 1996 and signed by President Clinton to "end welfare as we know it". But in violation of the law's explicit language, Obama unilaterally carved out (in effect, repealed) the "work" (or training for work) requirement for persons receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

This is the biggest threat to the Zero King and merry band of court jesters. They will fight this tooth and nail.
Bring it on! And the Repubs better hold fast, because Obammy will do a full court press on them with his sycophantic media and "polls".
Bring it on and pray Boehner keeps holding out, so far he has.
As was noted about Clinton, it wasn’t about his choice of sins, but Abuse of Power.
That’s what happens when you put unqualified, unvetted people into positions of authority.
More accurately, (TINC - Traitor in Chief).
DOMA was the law of the land too.
The debt limit is also the law of the land.
RINO has no backbone to impeach this crybaby criminal.
So was Slavery!!!!!!!
Since Obamacare was re-written by the SCOTUS, it is not the same bill that both Houses of Congress voted on, or Obama signed into Law.
Therefore, until the changes have acheived The Advice and Consent of Congress, the revised law is invalid, by standards set forth in the US Constitution and the rules of both Houses of Congress.
In effect, Traitor John Roberts voided the same Law that he tried to save.
He’s a law unto himself. And the media is his minions.
I heard them say the debt limit has been raised 55 times. What kind of limit is that? It’s a f***ing joke. Let’s make it a real limit this time around and listen to the socialsts howl when their money spigot gets shut down. EPA etc will be te first to lose funding. They couldn’t do this Obamacare deal if our side didn’t keep extending their credit limit. Cloward-Piven their asses. The bank is now CLOSED.
He’s a law unto himself. And the media is his minions.
Can't say chief anymore. That's racist.
“DOMA was the law of the land too.”
So is the second Ammendment to the Constitution but that doesn’t stop the weasles from trying to change, alter, eliminate
Immigration Law the law of the land too. I don’t see the democrats having a problem breaking that law or wanting to change them.
Very glad to see Phyllis is still in the game. She has a brilliant mind, is strong in her faith, and has been a stalwart conservative in the movement going back to the 70’s at least. Her Eagle Forum was at the forefront of the battle with liberals. She was ahead of her time.
I’ve been reading her columns at Creators and she is very good, I’ll start checking her Eagle Forum as well.
Boehner sounded down out right pissed off when he came out to call zero out after he said he’d work with pubs.
Slavery was once the law of the land. Prohibition was once the law of the land. Barring women from voting was once the law of the land. Incarcerating Japanese-Americans was once the law of the land. Repealing dangerous, counterproductive laws is the DUTY of the American citizens. It’s long past time we lit a fire under those senile old pharts in Congress and forced them to do what’s right, not what they think will keep them in power. They are NOT our rulers. They work for us.
Got it! The fool thinks he’s king of the Medes and Persians as in Daniel 6:6-12:
6 So these administrators and satraps went as a group to the king and said: May King Darius live forever! 7 The royal administrators, prefects, satraps, advisers and governors have all agreed that the king should issue an edict and enforce the decree that anyone who prays to any god or human being during the next thirty days, except to you, Your Majesty, shall be thrown into the lions den. 8 Now, Your Majesty, issue the decree and put it in writing so that it cannot be alteredin accordance with the law of the Medes and Persians, which cannot be repealed. 9 So King Darius put the decree in writing.
10 Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. 11 Then these men went as a group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help. 12 So they went to the king and spoke to him about his royal decree: Did you not publish a decree that during the next thirty days anyone who prays to any god or human being except to you, Your Majesty, would be thrown into the lions den?
The king answered, The decree standsin accordance with the law of the Medes and Persians, which cannot be repealed.
