“....I think when we see Tea Party members of the House willing to close, to shutter the government, and Tea Party members of the House who have articulated that they would allow the government to default on its debts, that you have a level of extremism that is unparalleled by any other faction in either house.”

The speaker of those words is telling lies.

With no budget resolution in place and no raise in the national debt limit there will still be no reason or cause fot the President to default on any federal debt obligations that come due, on or after October 17.

There will be a deficit increase (revenue below expenses) if the federal government keeps spending every minute as much as it is spending and its possible for that deficit increase to bring a possible new borrowing demand that would seek to obtain a higher total borrowing than presently allowed by law and the Constitution (which says only Congress can change the debt limit).

However, a remedy for that increase in the deficit does not REQUIRE either a raise in the federal debt limit or a default on federal debt obligations coming due.

Obama’s treasury is REQUIRED by the Constitution to PAY THE DEBT obligations, no matter what other expenses doing so might mean will not get paid. All’s that need really happen is for sequester to get a little tighter, that’s all. That initial increased sequester will also help reduce the deficit in the months to come, continuing to stem the need to raise the debt ceiling.

Obama MUST by the Constitution and by law pay the debt and not default; it is the rest of his extravagant spending programs that will have to be cut further. Obama also cannot avoid those cuts by telling treasury to borrow more money without Congressional approval - the Constitution does not allow Presidents to increase the total U.S. debt allowe - only Congress can.

You said it a lot better than I could.

The debt, defense and a few others are required spending, all the social programs aren’t.

There is plenty of money coming in to pay for these.

Don’t raise the debt limit, all social programs are cut.

As a Wisconsinite, I sincerely apologize for foisting this FREAK on America. Tams is OUR ‘Al Franken,’ to say the very least!

Her seat in our Assembly was BOUGHT & PAID FOR by out of state money, as was her Senate run.

She BEAT Tommy Thompson? If you KNOW Wisconsin Politics, that was pretty much UNFATHOMABLE! Again, lots of out of state money and LOTS of ballot box stuffing in that race.

Again, my apologies.

However, AMAZINGLY, we HAVE given you Governor Scott Walker; future President? I’m thinking, YES...

She won because that idiot dinosaur Tommy Thompson had to stick his nose into the race.

Army cadence:

My Girl My girl ain't go no eyes
Just two holes and lots of flies
But I'd do most anything
To keep her alive

My girl ain't got no nose
Just a piece of rubber hose
But I' d do most anything
To keep her alive

My girl ain' t got no hands
Just a pair of teflon pans
But I f d do most anything
To keep her alive

My girl ain' t got no legs
Just some string and wooden pegs
But I'd do most anything
To keep her alive

That was one race I was really surprised about. I could see us losing Montana and North Dakota, but for Tommy Thompson to lose against some nobody queer... that’s like Mike Rounds losing in South Dakota in 2014.

Exactly.
How in the world did it become fashionable to call thrift and personal responsibility extreme?
Taking over 1/6 of the economy and playing dice with the health and well being of 300 million people? To me that sounds extreme.

These people have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about.

[There are] Tea Party members of the House willing to close, to shutter the government, and Tea Party members of the House who have articulated that they would allow the government to default on its debts, that you have a level of extremism that is unparalleled by any other faction in either house.

The Great Sedition Trial of 1944 2014 is building support. FDR's plan to destroy his critics of minor importance before tackling the big guys like Senator Taft failed when the courts finally threw the case out.

The Tea Party members are the little guys and gals. As long as we have an alternate media I don't think it could happen and we can avoid the repeat of

". . . one of the blackest marks on the record of American jurisprudence. In the legal world, none can recall a case where so many Americans were brought to trial for political persecution and were so arrogantly denied the rights [guaranteed] an American citizen under the Constitution.”

Another dumbassed marxist heard from.

She is like a mosquito. A real pest until squashed.

Will a real person run against her in the next election? Run on the “I’m sane” theme.
