Megan Kelly is off to a rocky start, pulling Fox hard to left, challenging Senator Ted Cruz in much the same way Candy Crowley did at CNN. So far she has quoted polls by Politico and PPP.
I’m getting in on the tale end of this discussion. I stood in front of the TV and watched this little slip of a lefty... she lit into Cruz and I turned and left the room. I got on my computer to see what you all were saying and no one had posted anything yet on her. She was rude to Cruz and blamed him for the shutdown. He was kind in the face of her rudeness. I expected her to come off loud and obnoxious... and she did. She must think she is that good.
If Fox thinks this is their best, they are way out of touch with the rest of us. I’m running out of things to watch on TV.
Nobody went after that left wing moron Gingrich hard enough. Have you ever noticed people call him by his first name like a 3rd grader, not like a real man.
No need to duck. You are right. If anything, Megyn showed the silly extremism of the democrats and served it up for Cruz. She served it up for him and allowed him to give complete responses without a lot of interruption. Certainly not a stupid, wild leftist like the loony woman on MSNBC at night.
The rest of the show so far is a bore with the legal stuff and then having the Five on to talk about Miley Cyrus.
All in all, this show is likely to lose a lot of male viewers in this slot if the format is going to be like this. But she is not a wild-eyed liberal in all things like many people commenting here are spouting. Some things moderate or worse but I have also seen her blast Obama and Pelosi and Reid on the legalities of Obamacare.
I like Greta and her show too, especially at 10 p.m. She asked sharp questions, listened to the answers, and normally didn’t talk over the guest. I hope Fox puts the schedule back the way it was.
It's probably a lot easier to go after a fat communist sow then a glamor-puss info-babe.
It used to be that Fox News was on all the time. Now I find that I'd rather watch Bar Rescue for shouting matches.
Greta's show has risen to the top because of her fresh interviews with topical guests.
Hannity spends too much time with his rote comments and inside jokes with his "enemies on camera, friends off camera" guests.
I fear that this won't end well for Fox News. The liberals won't embrace them until they toe Obama's line, and the conservatives won't stick with them if they sense they are being sold out, abandoned, or left behind at the dance.
And my West Coast schedule won't accommodate the schedule change. Kelly may be Ailes' vision of Fox's future, but it's not mine.

Her facial expression really was worse than annoying ..... appeared to me she was feeling contempt for Cruz while she kept throwing polls in his face. To his credit, he treated her like a lady. I turned the channel after and watched “Bad Ink” instead .... that should say something about how uninteresting I found her show.

I miss Laurie Dhue (now at Blaze) but I must confess watching Shannon Faulkner battle Jesse Jackson made me a new fan of her
I like Martha in the morning...not sure her slant
problem is the DC-NYC-LA axis devours all...it is very hard not to get coopted
but Megyn is a hear me roar woman....she epitomizes why wise men kept women quieter for centuries
being loud and pushy and talking fast whilst not listening like O’Reilly with a vagina is not a sign of smarts

I've seen her shout down studies on gay crap and guns stuff and worst of all about how moms leaving kids latchkey has been bad for culture
then she crows about being a mom

Although I missed the first 4 minutes, what I watched was okay. Kelly challenged Cruz candidly referencing Democrat charges giving Ted plenty of time to respond. I have no problem with the interview. Kelly was not hostile, didn’t interrupt, and was gracious to her first guest, Senator Ted Cruz.
I didn’t care much for the rest of the program given the tabloid news content.
I would prefer to see Greta in Kelly’s spot.

I’ve only watched the first few minutes of Kelly’s new show.
She seemed to be shouting at the camera. If she continues that, she’s going to be hard to watch regardless of her content.
I got the feeling that Kelly could very well morph into Nancy Grace, who is totally unwatchable.
No reporter is worth their salt that is afraid to “challenge” those they interview. I’m betting she’ll be just as direct with a liberal she’s interviewing. FOX is a news organization, not a cheerleader for a particular political party.
