'Truckers for the Constitution' Plan to Slow D.C. Beltway, Arrest Congressmen
US News & World Report ^ | October 7, 2013 | By Steven Nelson

Posted on 10/07/2013 6:33:28 PM PDT by Fireone

Earl Conlon, a Georgia trucker who is handling logistics for the protest, told U.S. News tractor-trailer drivers will circle the beltway "three lanes deep" as he rides with other participants to Congress to seek the arrest of congressmen for allegedly disregarding the Constitution. "We want these people arrested, and we're coming in with the grand jury to do it," he said. "We are going to ask the law enforcement to uphold their constitutional oath and make these arrests. If they refuse to do it, by the power of the people of the United States and the people's grand jury, they don't want to do it, we will. ... We the people will find a way."

You are correct. Neither the Veteran’s March on October 13, 2013 nor the Truckers Event will garner main-stream media interest. The objective in the media is to protect their boy OBAMA at all costs. The will circle the wagons and make the veterans and the trucks out to be loonies and in some cases, racists. Sad, pathetic, but that is our US Media today.

Why are there posters trying to belittle this ? I believe any thumb to the eye of this administration is a noble act. Something is wrong.

"We are not going to ask for impeachment," Conlon said. "We are coming whether they like it or not. We're not asking for impeachment, we're asking for the arrest of everyone in government who has violated their oath of office."

That is about 75 % of them.

In other words, make sure the right press is there watching and brought camera and witnesses to record the event on video and pictures so they can't lie and deceive the people.

Any form of civil disobedience will be counter productive unless the conduit of information is taken into account. The press will paint any and all resistance in a negative light unless they are put on notice they will be held accountable for bias and collusion. Shut down access to network corp offices with horns blasting and exhaust stacks belching soot. Airdrop a note with corp execs names and home addresses.

It started out great. I could’ve supported them ... until they played the Citizens’ Grand Jury card.

Under the American system of justice, Grand Juries are empaneled by law not by self-appointment.

Imagine if your adversaries/opponents/enemies decided to form an unlawful grand jury, indict you, and attempt to arrest you. That’s called kidnapping. It’s a felony.

Consider the emotions today of all those Federal Employees who have young children.

They are not going to be happy, happy, happy with Barry’s AG Eric Holder for stopping the National AMBER ALERT Program over the weekend.

Surely, Mr. Fast and Furious Holder thought this Amber Alert cancellation through and made an exception for Michelle Obama’s two darling children?

BTW, I wonder if Barry, General of the Senate Harry “Mean Ol’ Guy” Reid, and Colonel of her former self Nancy “Always in a fog” Pelosi realize that other Federal employees ALSO have young children that need to be protected by the National Amber Alert Program?

BTW, BTW, the boy-toy, wanna-be dictator Barry Soetoro, aka Mr. Michelle Obama, COULD order his personal Corporate Jet, Air Force One, to be mothballed, by Executive Order, of course. (He must have a few blank EO forms lying around his empty chair, or his Golf bag - - - ).

That simple gesture just might, could, show that Barry also “feels our pain.”

Barry could also BARRYCADE his own personal Golf Course, and BARRYCADE the Oceans, only on Federal land, of course. (Governors are so touchy these days about THEIR State’s shorelines)!

Exactly my thoughts. FReepers should be proud of these truckers and anyone who stands up to this administration. Strange postings, for sure.

Let us pray for these patriots, that they would remain safe, and have a very joyful time during this peaceful protest.
My hat is off to anyone, biker, vet, or trucker, who sacrifices the time and money to promote liberty.

Why are there posters trying to belittle this ? I believe any thumb to the eye of this administration is a noble act. Something is wrong.

Because we have a number of hand-wringing wussies on this forum whose rationale ranges from the paranoid ("We can't do that because that's just what they WANT us to do!!! oh my!) to the lazy ("But I have to get up for work tomorrow and besides my favorite show is on") to the fearful ("If we do anything, anything at all, it'll provoke their wrath and WE'LL ALL DIE!").

And I forgot one category - the delusional ("Doing something confrontational is just stupid and immature. All we need to do is write our congressmen and vote in a Republican in 2016! Yay!").

I agree- bring on the popcorn, it just might be a great show. The truckers are the one group that perhaps has more economic power in this country than any other that I can think of offhand.

“...to seek the arrest of congressmen for allegedly disregarding the Constitution.”

He’s going to have to arrest them all plus the members of the other branches of the federal government since they are all in greater and lesser degrees disregarding the Constitution.

It’s called the District of Criminals for a reason.
