Tea party radiologist to primary Kansas Republican for Senate seat
The Daily Caller ^ | October 8, 2013

Wolf, an admirer of conservative Republican Sens. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, had sharp words for the GOP and its contribution to the federal debt.

“The Republican Party has this mindset that you should get in line and that you should bow to whoever is in charge and you should ask their permission and you should go along to get along,” he said. ”But where has that got us? I can give you 17 trillion reasons why that has been a failure, and it’s our party that did that.”

Wolf has steadily been building his public profile with appearances on Fox News and columns for the Washington Times. He also spoke at the Red State conference this summer, which many saw as a nod to a prospective run for federal office.

Roberts of KS voted no on cloture, and helped convince Moran the other KS senator to do so.

He was also one of the few who came to the Senate floor when Ted Cruz was “filibustering”.

I’m sure he isn’t perfect, and he’s certainly been around a long time.

However, color me confused that he’s being “primaried”.

He didn’t act like Lamar, who is understandably being primaried.

Anybody know Roberts’ voting record, over all?

Roberts was right on defunding Obamacare, and came to the Senate floor to colloquy with Ted Cruz during his marathon speech.

He also got the other KS senator, Moran, in line to vote correctly on it, too.

Both voted no on cloture.

Do you know his over all voting record? I don’t.

Friendship aside, can you tell me why Roberts should be primaried?

I truly don’t know his over all voting record.

I know he voted correctly, and was among the few Senate GOP to do so, during the defunding Obamacare Senate vote.

And joined Ted Cruz during his “filibuster”.

His analysis of why the GOP should stand against Obamacare no matter what, was very good.

But help me out on the rest of his record...

Some will be successfully primaried. And when they are they’ll stay in their beloved DC rather than return home. RINOs graze in the federal pature during and after their terms.

Milton Wolf is Barack Obama’s second cousin once removed:

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you really Barack Obama’s cousin?
Yes, second cousin. We both hail from the McCurry family, as described in his
book Dreams From My Father. His grandmother Madelyn Dunham, who sadly passed
away one week before his election to the presidency, was my mother’s cousin.
With the age difference, his mother Stanley Ann and my mother Margaret
McCurry Wolf were childhood friends in Wichita, KS.

Really?
Yes.

There are 26 Senators ( more that 1/4 of the Senate) that are 70 or older. Fineswine and Grassley are both 80! Most of them have been there for at least 20 years, and some, like Leaky Leahy have been there 35 years (half of the bastard’s life). THEY ALL NEED TO GO! Roberts has been there since 1997. I think no matter what they have done, or are doing, they need to move out and let new people have their seats. At their advanced ages, the are completely out of touch with the real world and more importantly, don’t care or understand it. It just isn’t healthy for our republic for these people to have to be carried out of the Senate to be buried.

Did not know Pat Roberts was a liberal.

This to me is as nutty as Liz Cheney running against Sen. Enzi.

I don’t get the point of all of these circular firing squads and cannibalism. We should have every Dem who voted to pass Obamacare in our crosshairs.

What a huge waste of time, energy, and resources.

Pat Roberts is a good guy. He’s a strong conservative, at least in my interactions with him and his office.
