U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia says Satan is at work in American society.
In an interview with New York Magazine, the longest-serving high court justice warned that even though the devil isn't doing the same things from the Bible, he's still very active.
"What he's doing now is getting people not to believe in him or in God. He's much more successful that way," he said.

Scalia's comments come as the U.S. Supreme Court opens for business, despite the government shutdown that's closed other parts of Washington.
The justices returned to the bench Monday morning for their new term. They began with reviewing hundreds of cases to eliminate those on which they will not rule.
But there are a number of important cases the court will be taking, including the following:
Arguments against employers having to provide contraception coverage under the president's health care law Cases regarding prayer at government events Cases regarding protests at abortion clinics

I understand the point of Scalia’s statement, but we’ve always been under assault by our Eternal Enemy.
Ironically, one of Satan’s most powerful weapons is causing a record number in society to disbelieve in him.
Scalia is right. Whatever way you wish to categorize it America has embraced decadence. Widespread abortion, pornography, fornication, homosexuality, drug use, endless entitlements and expectations,family breakdown,earth worshiping agnostic nihilism, loss of the work ethic and a petulant narcissist reelected President by 52% of the population. The Devil or whatever you wish to call the dark side has descended on a once great country. The decline is real and palpable.
I think that chief justice Roberts convinced a lot of people that the Devil does exist.

Yes, I think the tendency of men in general to slide into decadence is great evidence for Satan, and thereby, the existence of God. It might actually be easier to convince modern folks that God exists by that backdoor route than by pointing to all the positive evidences.
I wish someone would interview Justice John Roberts & ask him what he thinks of Obamacare now.

The people in the G W Bush White House knew he was vulnerable either over what amounted to arranged a dual illegal private adoption or because he is a closeted queer queen. How did that play out without coordination among the unelected permanent political class who wanted a Trojan horse ‘conservative’ as CJ.
I would never have said that Obama is at work, but the way Scalia put it make the truth obvious.
