Would you vote for cloture on a clean debt ceiling increase?
What Ive consistently said is that if they bring a continuing resolution at the levels, the spending levels that President Obama signed and Harry Reid, and I think it was 45 Democrat senators voted for the only other thing I would at this point require is you have to attach to that an amendment that would make sure that Congress and their staff does not get unequal treatment under the law. Under Obamacare. In other words, a rejection of that Office of Personnel Management ruling that grants that special treatment.
So thats your position on a continuing resolution.
What about on a debt ceiling increase?

The ‘RATS are pimping “republicans” willing to go wobbly for Obama. They’re easy to spot. There’s a big pee stain on the front of their pants.
Why would anyone talk to that far left publication?
Johnson was at the Cruz Bashfest, I no longer trust him.
More correctly a blood stain showing they have been neutered.
I’ve tried reading a few articles on there lately.
They are truly insane over there
Johnson sounds decidedly uncertain as to what he believes.
This man is not somebody to be counted upon when the going gets tough.
Johnson was one of the 27 outed RINOs who voted with Dingy on cloture.
Sen. Ron Johnson is interviewed by Salon Magazine. (Why?)
FReep Mail me if you wan on, or off, this Wisconsn interest ping list.

Stamp Act Repealed- “All the bells set ringing again as soon as daylight appeared.
...Two large bonfires were constructed one for the Sons of Liberty...
Night ended in drunkeness, throwing of Squibbs, Crackers [firecrackers], firing of muskets and pistols, breaking some windows and forcing off the Knockers off the doors.” 21 May 1766. p.367 “Montresor`s Journals” Vol. 14, Scull

Under Obamacare. In other words, a rejection of that Office of Personnel Management ruling that grants that special treatment.” Senator Ima Big Johnson
Heavens to murgatroyd! Have you ever heard such pussyfootin’ and seen such eggsuckin’?
Is he trying to say that he and his fellow critters should pretend that they will not exempt themselves from Obamacare, at least for now, or until they cornhole the GOP base by colluding with Obama and his brass assurances, and bail after the dust settles?
This guy’s gotta be a damyankee. I don’t know any southerner who could cozen so well and not choke on his tongue.
I’m about ready to try that whole “You go ahead, we’ll catch up. No really, count us out. We’ll go our own way, you go yours. Dammit, git lost.” North-South thing again.
I thought Johnson of WI had turned traitor knowing how liberal his constitutents are.
“This guys gotta be a damyankee. I dont know any southerner who could cozen so well...”
Manipulation and dishonesty are particular to a certain geographical region?
I’ve been exposed to a lot of ignorant, prejudiced, hateful sentiments, but this one is remarkable.
If the republicans attach an amendment saying congress and their staff don’t get special treatment, they’re admitting obama has the authority to give them special treatment.
Same with attaching an amendment saying if businesses get to wait a year then so should individuals.
No amendment should be attached. The law is the law.
Obozo re raising the debt limit in 2006:
The fact that we are here today to debate raising Americas debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Governments reckless fiscal policies. Increasing Americas debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.
~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006
