On more than one occasion, President Obama has quietly met with select members of the media. The off-the-record meetings were notable in that conservative journalists were seldom included.
On Tuesday, the tables were turned somewhat as Obama invited a small number of conservative reporters, columnists and commentators to the White House for a private chat, but is the president looking for an edge in the ongoing budget impasse with Congress?
Ben Shapiro, editor-at-large of Breitbart News, called the meeting “a clear attempt to woo largely establishment conservative commentators who have loudly opposed the GOP’s current government shutdown strategy.”
Those in attendance Tuesday include Charles Krauthammer, a Fox News contributor and Washington Post columnist; Paul Gigot, Wall Street Journal editorial page editor; Robert Costa, the National Review’s Washington editor; syndicated columnist Kathleen Parker; and Washington Examiner columnist Byron York, a source with knowledge of the meeting told Politico.
From this moment forward, everytime I hear Der Kraut opine on ANYTHING, I will view it in the light of his breaking bread with Obama and other RINO media sycophants at the White House. To sacrifice his credibility on Obama's altar shows just how far media personalities will go for an invitation to White House "meetings" and luncheons....or to the right cocktail parties in DC. They will virtually sell their souls and their sacred honor.
Obama has been wooing and corrupting the media since the day he assumed office....per tried and true Alinsky tactics.
Of course, freepers are well-informed and have keen ears. They have long known that Krauthammer is just another Fox News conservative ringer, as is the newly-annointed Miss Megan, Bill O'Reilly's Mini-Me.

He tried to run DC like Chicago, a one party town. I am surprised he managed to get this far completely ignoring half the countries political will. The Praetorian Media has a lot to do with insulating Obastard from reality.
Byron York was a wimp on Bill Bennett’s show this morning. He gave no details of the meeting, as if they were sworn to silence.
She undoubtedly left a wet spot on the sofa.
Parker? Kraut? Hah. Even his “conservative” pundits are fake.
Well, well, well! Three of the five appear constantly on Foxnews. Parker is a..., never mind. She’s Client N0.9’s ex-partner. And, the Kraut-man’s been swingin’ left for some time now and has turned into the turd in the punch bowl. We’ll see how York reacts to the dress down. Gigot (pronounced Gi - gut) doesn’t strike me as being conservative.

The personal is political, a lot of times. And he’s the Obama administration’s type of “conservative,” imo.
I don’t know him personally, might be a swell guy, but I have always found his writing to be extremely annoying.
“Conservatives” who allow themselves to be dupes and pawns are hardly “conservatives” at all.
