It would have been better if they had included clips of obama protesting and refusing to rasise the debt limit during a Republican admin.

Quotes of President Barack Obama on the Budget, Deficit, Debt and Deficit Ceiling
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3076002/posts

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can’t pay its own bills. ... I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.” — 3/16/2006 Floor speech in the Senate

First, we learned that the federal budget deficit could reach nearly half a trillion dollars next year. Eight years after we had a record surplus, we’re now faced with record deficits. This mortgaging of our children’s future is a direct result of the Bush Administration’s dangerously failed fiscal policies. — 8/9/08 Democratic Radio Address

And, you know, frankly, the last eight years what we’ve seen is moving in reverse. We’ve been moving in reverse. When Bill Clinton was president, the average family income went up $7,500; $7,500. Since George Bush has been president, you know what it’s done? It’s gone down $2,000. Think about that. That’s a $9,500 swing; $9,500. That’s money out of your pocket. That’s money going out of this country because we’re borrowing it from China to send to Saudi Arabia to buy oil. That’s what’s added $4 trillion to our deficit. I mean, think about that. You know, so we’ve created a mountain of debt for the next generation that they’re going to have to pay off. This little guy, he’s not too worried about it right now, but, you know, we’ve created $30,000 worth of debt for every man, woman and child in America. That’s going to have to be paid back. — 9/3/08 New Philadelphia, Ohio

We can’t mortgage our children’s future on a mountain of debt. I look at all these young people here today, and I say to myself, the notion that we are loading up more and more debt on a war in Iraq that I believe should have never been authorized and should never been waged — (cheers, applause) — on tax cuts for multi-billion dollar corporations and some of the wealthiest Americans, that is not a good investment in the future. We can’t run up a credit card, have a party and leave our children to pay the bill. It is time — it is time to put an end to the runaway spending and the record deficits. It’s not how you would run your family budget, and it must not be how Washington handles your tax dollars. It’s time to return to fiscal responsibility and pay-as-you-go budgeting, the kind of budgeting we had in the 1990s. You’ll remember Bill Clinton left a surplus — (cheers, applause) — to George W. Bush. — 10/1/08 La Crosse, Wisconsin

We can’t afford another four years of the kind of deficits we’ve been seeing over the last eight. Young people, you are going to have to pay for this debt we’re piling up. We can’t afford to mortgage our children’s future on another mountain of debt. — 10/2/08 East Lansing, Michigan

The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents – #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic. — Independence Day, 2008, Fargo, North Dakota:

Just push play...

I just listened to ABC news on the radio, and based on that news report I can assure you the Republicans are totally at fault for the government shutdown and the debt ceiling issue.

The mainstream media is our real enemy.

Not very effective. They give Obama more air time to explain and the black and white clips, to the politically uniformed, make it seems like they said those things an eternity ago. And the clips aren’t even in context and aren’t long enough to get an idea of what they’re talking about.

Good, we need to bypass the leftist media.

Sheesh, Charlie Rose and the GOP hater he co-anchors with have turned their morning show into a total Dem propaganda show. Every story, every misfortune, every sickness in America is now the fault of the GOP and the Obama shutdown.

It’s sickening in it’s obvious anti-GOP agenda.

Exactly. It’s a fundraising internet ad preaching to the converted. They haven’t spent a dime on shutdown or obamacare TV ads. With the kenyan down to 37% a flank attack on red state Dems would be effective. The RNC is too cheap and/or stupid to do it. Or maybe they just don’t want to win with the kenyan in the White Hut.

Hypocrisy?? That works both ways. The GOP[Bush, etc], when in charge did nothing to lower our debt issues. They raised the debt ceiling without much debate[excluding the dem outcry].

Nobody can take these parties seriously.

The GOP seems to be geniunely afraid the kenyan will get unhinged if they make him look like the buffoon he is. We have gotten many reports of erratic behavior by obama that show he is not a well man.

I’d like to see an ad of the wired shut WW2 memorial juxtaposed with the water fountain running in front of the WH.

The marxists seem to have chosen vets as the group to abuse first. The next step after that would be the inner city EBT types but they are saving that card for later.

Your post was why I thought that video sucked. The RNC is STILL playing flag football.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can't pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. . . . Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

Sen. Obama - March 2006

Why not use your quotes, or the one I cite above. IMO, those are much more direct and much more compelling.

The mainstream media is our real enemy.

America faces three dangerous enemies:

1. Radical Islamists

2. Radical left-wing Democrats

3. The Mainstream Media

And, of these three, the most dangerous is The Mainstream Media. If it were not for the MSM, the other two would have been defeated a decade ago.

Sometimes Youtube is as powerful as a paid advert on TV,,although both would be good here. RNC needs to ramp it up since the DNC is broke and can’t really answer back. This is the PERFECT time for the RNC to come out swinging since they are sitting on some cash!

We are seeing somebody going off the rails in a big way. It must take HOURS, some days, to get him prepared for a public appearance, and perhaps the application of some strong measures to get him stabilized after those public appearances.

We who are not idolators of The Won are not TRYING to make him look erratic or irrelevant. He is doing it all by himself. Time to call for a ruling as to his mental or physical competency to serve as President, and under the provisions of the 25th Amendment, surrender the office to the Vice President, who becomes the Acting President.

Yeah, yeah, I know, it would be Joe Biden, but considering the out-of-control aspect of what is now going on, it probably would not get worse immediately.

Now Joe Biden, we could impeach. Even Harry Reid doesn’t much like him.

‘Moody’s offers different view on debt limit’

...” We believe the government would continue to pay interest and principal on its debt even in the event that the debt limit is not raised, leaving its creditworthiness intact,” the memo says. “The debt limit restricts government expenditures to the amount of its incoming revenues; it does not prohibit the government from servicing its debt. There is no direct connection between the debt limit (actually the exhaustion of the Treasury’s extraordinary measures to raise funds) and a default.
