Is Speaker Boehner backing off Obamacare demands? (Paul Ryan seeks 'common ground' with Obama)
CS Monitor ^ | 10/9/13 | Peter Grier

Is the House Republican leadership backing away from its demand that big changes to Obamacare are the price of reopening the government and raising the nation’s debt ceiling?

That’s what some tea party conservatives are beginning to suspect. They’ve noticed rhetoric from House Speaker John Boehner (R) of Ohio and his allies has changed a bit in recent days. It’s focusing on the word “conversation” – as in, what the GOP wants is for President Obama to give in and talk to them. The GOP leadership is talking more about the general prospect of tax reform and budget restraint, as opposed to the Affordable Care Act in particular.

Now, a new op-ed from House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R) of Wisconsin is irritating some on the right due to what they believe is its apostasy. The piece repeats the request for negotiation and talks about the prospect for bipartisan entitlement reform. It does mention the need for a “complete rethinking of government’s approach to health care,” but only as a vague future goal.

“But right now, we need to find common ground.

“But right now, we need to find common ground.....

I thought Obama wasn’t negotiating.

That means you’re negotiating with yourself.

Just go home Paul and rest up.

Careful, Mr. Ryan, “common ground” with Barack Obama is VERY dangerous territory, indeed.

HEY! Obamazombie Boehner! Yeah, YOU!

Answer this set of questions:

Does the refusal of Commander in Chief Obama to pay for the Funeral expenses of HIS four dead Warriors rise to the level of an Impeachable Offense?

“Generally, dereliction of duty refers to failure through negligence or obstinacy to perform one’s legal or moral duty to a reasonable expectation. In other words, it means willful or negligent failure to perform assigned duties or performing them in a culpably inefficient manner. Dereliction of duty is a specific offense in military law. “ (Quote from USLegal.com).

Dereliction of duty is an Impeachable Offense, as stipulated in the US Constitution. Dereliction of duty is also a US Military offense subject to a US Military Courts Martial.

Will our sorry Congressional RINOs do their usual kid gloves, “boys will be boys” approach to Obama’s numerous violations of the US Constitution, or will they FINALLY draw up The Articles of Impeachment for B. Hussein Obama?

BTW Obamazombie Ryan, take your time, think it through as RINO Hunting Season begins 1-1-2014.

This RINO hunt has no bag limits, tents or caves - - - .

The GOPe strategery to wait until winning the next election to take action died/sunk with the 2012 Election (on top of the 2008 Juan fiasco).

The GOPe have been given power (power of purse House and >40 Senators). They need to step up and use that power or lose it. If the GOPe is disappointed in all of the stay-at-homers in 2012, they haven't seen nothing yet.

I’ve always rather liked Boehner but if he drops this opportunity to get RID of Obammycare (which is depressing the entire USA economy and costing millions of jobs, all for a krappy program to begin with)
if he chickens out of this one,
I’m going to contribute $$$$$ to whatever decent looking opponent he gets in his next election

Never was that impressed with Paul Ryan

Even that so-called “balanced budget” he proposed went out into $trillions more in debt and out to the year 2020 before it actually balanced

I thought Obama wasn’t negotiating.

He isn't. He's just playing golf and waiting for the weeper of the house and the rest of his spineless wimps to fold like wet noodles.

The Republicans are winning

Obama refuses to compromise, so what common ground?

Common ground was funding the rest of the government the way liberals wanted it funded.

That isn’t enough??

:::::::::::::

Understatement. How do you have common ground with an America-hating Marxist whose agenda is to destroy our Constitutional Republic...and still be a REAL AMERICAN??
