There is no other way to put it. Democrats are curb-stomping veterans.
My father served in World War II and fought the Nazis.
He was cared for by the Veterans Administration until he passed away.
That is why I am beyond outraged at the Democrats vote last night to cut off funding for veterans care during a government shutdown.
I was here during the 1995 shutdown. Clinton worked with us to pass and sign a bill keeping VA claims funded.
Obama? He publicly announced he would veto funding to process VA claims and Nancy Pelosi ordered Democrats to cut off the funds.
Tueday night Democrats carried out Obamas order, killing a bill to keep processing VA claims.
That is sick.
Even worse, the World War II Memorial in D.C. was ordered barricaded and anyone who tries to visit it arrested, even though it is unstaffed and open 24 hours a day, even during holidays and government shutdowns.
Park rangers confirm that order came directly from the Office of Management and Budget, an Obama-run office inside the White House.
Obama set up this confrontation, and even had Park Police warn wheelchair-bound 90-year-old vets may be arrested for seeing it before they die, because he hoped the mainstream media would blame Republicans.
What kind of person intentionally attacks disabled heroes because hes certain his allies in the media will falsely blame his opponents?
Barack Obama and the Democrats intentionally set up this government shutdown by refusing to pass a budget and then blocking continuing resolutions.
We know see why. Obama and Democrats are curb-stomping veterans because they believe their allies in the mainstream media will falsely blame it on Republicans, even though orders to kill funding and close war memorials come on the letterhead of Democrat leaders and the White House.
Copy this link and send it to your email list(s) and ask them to forward it to their email list(s) after removing addresses.
There will be a mass veterans’ rally at the WW2 Memorial this Sunday morning.
Could get interesting with thousands of old combat vets not in a mood to be man-handled by pimply 25-year-old G&-7s.
Please don’t long too hard for Clintoon. There could be another (worse) one down the road.
Republicans have to get this message out, despite the media bias. Instead of just criticizing Obama and the senate Democrats, they should be making it crystal clear who is denying veterans benefits and who is stopping elderly vets from visiting an open-air WWII memorial.
The adminstration’s disgraceful tactics show just how vicious they can be. Make no mistake, to the Dems politics is bloodsport.
The fight against this regime is going to get dirtier. We had better prepare for a long battle and be willing to endure it. Things are going to get very rough.
Obama did criticize the restraints on govt well what Obama is doing is showing how an all powerful govt can hurt
Hope they save some for me. Hope to come back with a souvenir of DC at the end of the month.
Oh, No, we may have to learn to tweet on twitter and face on facebook, email, text and make phone calls. We may have to paint messages on our car, signs in our yard.
Is that possible?
Looks like the Nazis have taken over—we were asleep at the switch and let some snappy PR sneak a snarky Communist into power. We are awake now! Don’t let this group hold power any longer than possible! Kick them out like the Italians booted out Musolini and his fascists.
You've answered your own question, Steve, but in the spirit of helping out, that would be:
A sociopathic, psychopathic, morbidly solipsistic narcissist..
Anybody else think that's close?
Like young Caligula told his Uncle Tiberius, "First we make a list .... a long, lonnnggg list."
Mark Halperin, massive ego and inflated talking head formerly of TIME Magazine (and scion of Pentagon Papers traitor Morton Halperin; both were rotten enough to get automatic jobs in the Clinton Administration), was stung by Clint Eastwood's excellent "Empty Chair" Speech at the GOP National Convention.
Halperin was so pissed he broke cover and actually bragged into not one but two open mikes (first Gwen Ifill's, and then Charlie Rose's, both on PBS about a half-hour apart) that the Republican key messages would never get out because he and his press colleagues would slice, dice, and spin the GOP core message into incomprehensibility. This was his vindictive boast. Nobody would see Clint's speech. Ever. And nobody would see the video the GOP put together to introduce Romney to undecided voters.
He was bragging the MSM had already done that, and underscored the point that nobody but PBS was carrying the two campaign events. Other major media were not and would not.
I know what you mean, but don’t say it like that!
Clinton paved the way for 0vomit.
