Your typical trucker has produced more worth for the country in one week than most congresscritters has produced in their sorry life. (The only reason that “most” replaced “all” is because a few critters were doctors or businessmen...and as such, actually produced value sometimes in their lives.)

And - take a typical trucker’s value to the country and divide it by the Obamadork’s value to the country - and you have a very good start at defining infinity.

There won’t be a protest. I mean, if you are there in person, sure - but Americans think they know “what’s going on” by watching TV News. And on TV news, there will be no more coverage of this than there was of the March for Justice - or the throng of a million that converged on Washington on 9/12/09 to protest Obamacare.

Coordinate an ‘accident or major breakdown’ On 395, 495 (beltway so need a couple), 66W, GW and BW parkways and a couple more select routes etc, around 430 and the area will be in complete gridlock with ALL major police forces overloaded.....

Throw in a Metro/Metro bus ‘breakdown’ and the Duchy Of Grand Fenwick can march in backwards and control the area without a shot being fired...

For best results, add 1-2 inches of snow or a heavy, steady drizzle....

I had wondered at the time how say 5 ‘bushwack teams’ would have been in place, how much more effective the 2 idiots in the Chevy would have been.

My intent was to clarify that if one is to take the oath to be Commander in Chief, then he also has to be held accountable for the well-being of ALL personnel under his command.

I concede that raising the word “his” to caps was done by me to add sarcasm to Obama’s claim this past July in a speech: “-—my Military, who are fighting for ME.” (Emphasis was his).

Obama cannot have it both ways: MY Military, but not my dead Warriors.

There was coverage already on FoxNews (forget the exact show(s)) the other night.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't any coverage on FoxNews tonight and/or tomorrow night and possibly through the day tomorrow.

BTW, there's a new evening schedule which began this week on FoxNews: Greta Van Susteren has moved to 7 ET, Bill O'Reilly maintains his 8 ET slot, followed by Meagan Kelly inserted at 9 ET and then by Sean Hannity moved back to 10 ET.

There will be no gas delivered to stations, groceries delivered to the local grocery store, and myriad of other products won’t be delivered if it depends on an 18 wheeler.

That's the only aspect of this I don't like. No reason why innocent people should be harmed by being denied necessities. Sounds like something vicious that Obama would do to maximize pain during the government shutdown.

I probably should have ‘bracketed’ it but I was trying to point out that FEWER trucks, well placed would cause more ‘grief’ since an accident as I described does exactly as I described it.
At 739 this AM, the WashPost reported an overturned tractor trailer shut down ALL LANES of 495 @ Landover Rd. MDSP unsure HOW LONG BEFORE OPENED UP.
In the same ‘Alert’, they cite an accident on Balt/Wash Pkwy@175 with SOUTBOUND lanes are bumper to bumper and UNKNOWN how long before open - saying several hours.
ONE (if not both) of these was still going on at NOON, saying it happened at 4AM.

I am NOT sure, but I thought that the truckers had planned this BEFORE the shutdown.

‘They’ allowed the Immigration thing to go on because it was pre planned...we shall see....

And you are correct, it inconveniences the ‘wrong people’ but I think the original plan involved circling the Capitol and White House but they probably scrapped that ‘bad’ idea giving the present circumstances.

If you get 20-30(ea) rigs to hit the Beltway in both directions from 95 S in Md and N in VA, just doing the speed limit can/will tie the area up for hours and if they are doing the speed limit and staying out of the left lane they ‘just happen to be there’ and not exiting....

And all they’ll do is PO a lot of people. The way you wrote made it seem you were looking for ways to increase the efficiency of the disruption.

(BTW, the 175 was a pedestrian fatality. It was bad but I’m sure it finished before the truck issue. Why a pedestrian on the highway I don’t know.)

I'm looking forward to watching this and may have more faith in Fox News than you, lol. I worry a bit about a truck delivery shutdown in cities but as others write, it may be a good wakeup call.

I sure hope there’s a lot of video of this because the MSM won’t show it at all.
