The Fisher House folks stepped into the void thinking this would be temporary, they are in for a big surprise. The President can not do this, it is clearly a violation of the constitution. Congress can only do this(finance). I fear this is but a dress rehearsal for more crisis to come. Pray

Fisher House stepped forward because the government was not paying the families and something had to be done immediately. The Marine Family Organization also stepped forward to help families of Marines killed. The truth is the Pentagon brought up this issue to the media FOUR days before the shutdown happened, plenty of time for something to be done to get the families the money. Obama and most of our Senators just did not care. Only when it got publicity was it addressed in any way- then the House voted to get them paid and the Senate made a statement that they were not planning to bring it up at all. Obama is once again speaking to his voters that will not bother to find out the truth.
