Reid said “It won’t happen”. This proves obama takes his marching orders from someone else. Reid is the messenger. I assume the republicans know this which means when they talk to obama all they do is ask “So, what did Reid say?”
The GOP should tell the world that they tried and obama won’t budge. Then just walk away. They should say they’ve got to get to the banks and withdraw all their money and buy gold. Gold is the only thing that will be of value when the democrats are finished.

The Senate has passed a budget -- totally on party lines.
The Senate budget is, however, so unrealistic -- calling for more expenditures than are currently scheduled -- that the House has refused to take it up or go to Conference.
Recall that, some months ago, the House voted to deny salaries to the Senate until they passed a budget -- which is what caused the Senate to finally act.
The Democrats are not about dealing in good faith.
