The governor must be telling the state’s lawyers to take a dive.

‘Same-sex marriage’ is a contradiction in terms. Only members of the same species, but of opposite sex, can “marry.”
The ancient Greeks recognized this in rhetoric exercises: “How many horses do you have if you have three horses and a mule, but you agree to call the mule a horse?”
You still have three. Agreeing to call a mule a horse doesn’t make it a horse. Calling a civil union ceremony of two members of the same sex a “wedding” and “marriage” is absurd.

Obfuscation is the Left’s game. Let pervs get a foothold and then the appeal goes the way of California, with judges making the laws.

Passed by the legislature (which represents the popular will in a republic), but vetoed by the Governor, who has effectively told the AG to take a dive in this.
