FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) - A Fresno mail carrier has been fired for throwing away mail. The United States Postal Service says the mailman admitted he threw away letters about "Obamacare."
People who live at a Central Fresno apartment complex snapped pictures of the inside of the dumpster filled with mail about "Obamacare". Witnesses say the mail was dumped in the garbage by their mailman.
"He just kept glancing over his shoulder over and over again. It was like he knew what he was doing was wrong," said witness Jerry Dills.
Dills says he brought the mail that he found in the garbage to his local post office where he filed a formal complaint against the carrier.
KMPH spoke with a representative from the U.S. Postal Service who said he questioned the carrier and the carrier admitted to the throwing the mail into the garbage dumpster.
According to the U.S. Postal Service spokesperson, Gus Ruiz, the mail carrier said, "He was running late and wanted to get back to the post office on time."
Ruiz says the mail carrier, who was a temporary worker hired in August, was fire immediately.
Ruiz added the discarded mail would be delivered on Tuesday.

I do think it’s interesting that of all they things they can’t pay for right now because of the shut-down, the Obama’s pet projects are still being funded.
As for the parks, isn’t it interesting how they can fund paying for folks to go around and shut down parks and enforce it, yet they can’t pay to keep them open.

Bullshit. He should go to prison. Tampering with the mail is a serious federal offence - and imagine the outrage if this fellow was throwing away information regarding a program that conservatives supported.
Bullcrap. He should have been fired. People are always bitching about the post office, now when they remove one of their bad actors, you are upset.
Would you be supporting him if he discarded, let’s say for example, copies of the Limbaugh Letter?

Now - do we know for certain that this “ObamaCare mail” wasn’t something from FreedomWorks that is explaining why it’s bad? I don’t think they explain?

Sorry guys, but he committed a federal crime, I don’t like Obamacare at all but you can’t have a mail carrier willfully destroying mail or not delivering it.
