In its first report on press freedom in the United States, the Committee to Protect Journalists warns Obama has ushered in a paralyzing climate of fear for both reporters and their government sources. Among the case it details: six government employees - plus two contractors, including Edward Snowden - have faced felony criminal prosecutions since 2009 under the 1917 Espionage Act for leaking classified information to the press, compared with three such prosecutions in ALL previous U.S. administrations.

When the late Charles Colson became a “born-again Christian” after being Nixon’s WH Counsel, he wrote letters of apology to those he had gone after as the ‘hatchet man’ of the administration.

One was sent to Dr. Carl McIntire, radio preacher who led mass rallies for call for a victory in the Vietnam War in opposition to the “Paris Peace Talks” with the Communists launched by Nixon and Henry Kissinger.

The Nixon FCC shut down a radio station he owned on Fairness Doctrine grounds.

Both parties have used dirty tricks with GOP in Nixon’s case hitting liberals and the conservatives who weren’t moderates like him.

Committee to protect journalists? LOL LOL From what? From the massive “Committee of Journalists who protect Obama?” We don’t even have a media anymore because of these subhuman pukes.
