Obama, Boehner negotiations at a stand still (Obama rejects deal)

Talks between House Speaker John Boehner and President Barack Obama over the government shutdown and looming debt limit deadline have hit a brick wall.

Boehner relayed the news to his Republican caucus during a Saturday morning meeting after a night of work where little progress was made. Republican Rep. Paul Labrador of Idaho emerged from the meeting, telling CNN that "the President rejected our deal."

The standstill has decreased the possibility that the House would vote to reopen the government this weekend and while leadership would remain in Washington to work on a proposal, rank-and-file members might return to their districts until Monday afternoon.

So let’s see here: Obama rejects the House short-term plan in favor of the Senate long-term plan (because it pushes everything to the back burner until after the 2014 elections)...

RINOs then herald the new era of “compromise”, and the Marxist MSM triumphs the fact that Susan Collins- a woman- is leading the way on the Senate plan (remember comrades- high premiums, rationed health care plans, crushing debt payments, etc. are irrelevant- all the matters is race, class and gender- unless it involves Sarah Palin or Ted Cruz, of course)...

All of this then dovetails into the MSM endlessly telling us why we need Hillary for president in 2016. Do I have this about right?

Somebody tell Speaker John Boehner you shouldn’t negotiate with muslim terrorists in the first place.

The main problem Republicans have is their inability to bring their message to the people. Jack Welch said the other day they couldn’t sell an iPad.

That’s why Obama gets away with so much.

Impasse Grinds On as House Says Its Offer Was Rejected

“The message from Speaker John A. Boehner had been grim, Republicans said. Representative John Carter of Texas described Mr. Obama as “acting like a royal president.”

“He’s still ‘my way or the highway,’ ” Mr. Carter said.

"Talks between House Speaker John Boehner and President Barack Obama"

Boehner has taken the role of the adult, and has tried to have a constructive dialog, but the petulant man-child only wants to dictate.

*-———RINOs then herald the new era of “compromise”-——

That is not the case. Collins is looking backward to the tried and true she knows and feels comfortable with. She is a woman, a weak and frightened woman, that can not see a future different than her comfortable past.

Collins and Mc Cain and others have lived beyond their useful productive life span

Listen, no matter what the Republicans offer — including accepting EVERY Democrat demand — the Democrats WILL reject the offer.

Barack Obama wants a default.

Then he can suspend EBT Food Stamp cards in November.

Then the cities explode with rioting card-dependents.

Then he invokes the Emergency Powers Act, dismisses the House and the Senate, and rules for life as a King.

It’s a zero-sum game for Zero. He’s already made it clear he won’t negotiate. All he will accept is capitulation.
No surrender to, no quarter for the socialists!

The House should pass a clean short-term CR and adjourn.

Obama will break or suffer mightily.

Because Dems are short-term thinkers. The whining from the govt workers will have to be aimed at the administration if the House is not in session.

When Obama says he won’t take a short-term solution, the American people can be asked why short-term solutions have been OK for the last 5 years.

You are day dreaming. The kenyan doesn’t want riots before the midterms. Maybe after but not before. The Dems need suburban soccer moms to take the House. Rioting blacks doesn’t give that demo to them or help vulnerable Senate Dems like Pryor and Manchin.

You could look at this as Obama holding Boehner’s feet to the fire. LoL. The RINOs are not getting an out.

One simple message to the public. Susan Collins is NOT the TEA party, and her reasonable proposal was rejected without a counter-offer. Connect the dots, dear public.

As I posted on another thread:
I believe it was Putin that said: “Negotiating with Obama is like playing chess with a pigeon. He just struts all over the board knocking over the pieces, craps all over the board, then flies off like he won.”
Not a single Pubbie should now go to the WH for ANYTHING. He refused to negotiate and that needs to be the message from the Hill and it needs to ring far and wide with the People. From here on in, make him come to the Capitol. He’s on his turf at the WH. He’s delusional and outright evil. Maybe we are more stupid than normal human beings. Electing him to POTUS seems to bear it out for sure.

Precisely. The man-child doesn’t have to budge. The Republicans will eventually succumb to their own timorous inclinations. The longer the man-child holds out, the more concessions Republicans offer up.

“Some conservatives — like tea party favorite Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas — left the meeting upset at Obama for continuing to insist the government must reopen and the debt ceiling must be increased before he would take part in full-fledged negotiations on deficit reduction.”

Uhmm!

An action by the Conservatives in exchange for a future promise by untrustworthy O’bastard.

Hell no!
