On Saturday, at a little before 9:30 a.m., citizens determined to break through the “barrycades” around the Lincoln Memorial moved the government barricades aside and proceeded to enter the Memorial. According to Taylor Hemness from KLTV 7:
[The protesters] went completely up those steps, past the National Parks Service members who didn’t do anything to stop them as they made their way up to the Lincoln monument asking people to come with them, begging them to make people in DC listen to what they were doing.

Why doesn’t anyone take pictures of gov’t employees who are doing this. There identities should be made public. They should not be able to act anonymously.

These folks are just doing what Jesus did, clearing our ‘temples’ and tossing the tribute sellers and money changers out of our memorials commemorating our nation’s founding and those who sacrificed and died to support it.

I guess some of those weenies with badges have trouble coping with resistance to them "just doing their jobs", when confronted by real men and women. Perhaps they got a good read of the determination of a Free people who will not be put off by a tyrant. Some will undoubtedly need some psychotropic drugs to help them deal with it.
How many demonstrators, I wonder. Large numbers and determination are insurance against being removed without the full on riot control procedures.
And be sure to include their name tags in the pics. Of course, once they realize people are taking pics of their name tags, they will either remove them or cover them up. Acting just like the brownshirts.

CNN said the vets said they are not there to cause trouble but rather to get the memorials open again. CNN said they did see “factions” of the tea party there. LOL!!!
The protestors need to get some cans of red, white, and blue spray paint and some stencils to paint the Obama logo and the words: “Change we can NOT abide!” on the Barry-Cades and to spray paint the Dem jackass and the words: “These Harry-Cades brought to you by the Democrat-controlled Senate!”

Spot on. I am all for civil disobedience, but in today's climate it must be both massive and well organized. And people need to count the cost of what they may face.
And? Resistance to tyranny doesn't come with any guarantee of safety or comfort. We're going to get some bumps and bruises along the way. Consider it a small price to pay for freedom.
