Bump for later
Geeez.....smooth your feathers down already.
It's hard enough to get people's precise meaning via text when they're being direct - much less so when they're trying to make a point through implication.
Are you a moron?
My goodness, you are touchy. No, the only morons I’ve seen lately are those who believe that Little Lindsey Graham is getting “conservative religion”.
Thanks Cincinatus’ Wife.
[snip] Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said Sunday he would not vote for a deal to reopen the government and raise the debt limit if it cannot attract support in the Republican-led House, arguing there is little point in claiming victory if a deal does not pass muster in the other chamber of Congress. [/snip]
[snip] Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has called President Obama a “pathetic leader” for his lack of involvement in negotiations to end the government shutdown. He slammed the presidents unwillingness to compromise with Republicans as “immature.” [/snip]
package (so far): 6-wk DL ext, Lankford bill on shutdowns, income verification for O’care applicants, Vitter amdt
I’ve seen a sketch, on deep bkgrnd, of what House is potentially preparing to propose on Mon...”
Sounds like the Senate RINOs are going to get their wish: a Dem House bill they can support.
Or maybe Boehner is hoping the Dems won’t pass it.
It’d sure get Linda’s vote...
Who in God’s name is stupid enough to believe Graham is suddenly becoming a genuine conservative?
Sorry about being touchy - - I’m sure we are on the same page when it comes to Miss Lindsey.
Fund the Yellow Labs....
Exactly, he is not doing it based on conviction or principle. He needs to go over to the Dems and get it over with..
that will not include the CR so it may not get Linda’s support after all, it would get mine.
We're obviously on the same page, as regards Linda Graham, but I did misunderstand the intent of your primary comment. Text can be a troublesome communication medium.
....As the old government guard WANTS everything to stay as it is..which wastes in the billions time and money. They do not want to change even when there are clear and easy ways to do so.
Additionally the Gov. workers have no incentive to do a good job at what they are assigned to do...my son battles them all the time...they do only what they have to and many not even that....he has to constantly put a fire under their butts! The reason is they pretty know their jobs are secure....and that's all they want...it doesn't matter to them if or not they excel at their work or not....and those who it does matter have to constantly battle with them]!
Somebody could do a M.A. thesis to find out what KY people see in McC.
