CNN.com covered Sunday’s “Million Vet March” in Washington D.C. against the Obama administration’s closure of military memorials by castigating the marchers as Tea Party kooks and fringe crazies. “At tea party-like rally, Obama told to ‘put the Quran down,’” the headline read. CNN derided the size of the crowd:

CNN focused on one speaker, Larry Klayman, whom it quoted as stating, “I call upon all of you to wage a second American nonviolent revolution, to use civil disobedience, and to demand that this president leave town, to get up, to put the Quran down, to get up off his knees, and to figuratively come out with his hands up.”
CNN then tried to lump in former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in with Klayman...

Really stinks that even Fox News won’t do anything on the March. I do know the people involved with the Truckers stopped coming on because they didn’t like national press reports so are refusing to do media. Plus they are busy with the protests. They joined the March today.

Funny how CNN etal can say the TEA Party is nothing but an isolated group of ‘radicals’ THEN have the wherewithal to say the 1M Vet march is full of TEA Partiers?

And I can only imagine how spectacularly a truly Conservative television network would perform. Fox continues to veer left with homosexuals, abortionists, feminists and a Scientologist in very visible positions. Until and unless Free Republic moves to a television platform, that medium remains in the enemy camp.

Indeed, why not? Somehow, so many organizers of these events are hung up on the full or partial alliteration, i.e., "Million Man March" and the like.
It does invite ridicule and they're stupid to not see that.
