That's quotable. I wonder how a campaign poster with Graham a guard over a long line of old people going into a portal labeled "Obamacare" would play in the primary?
Well, then forget about 0'care as impetus, and shut down the govt over the economy-killing so-called-one-time $787 Billion stimulus package that gets rolled into the No-Budget continuing resolutions for the last 3 years. This slush fund is there EVERY YEAR because Reed (sick0) won't allow a budget to come out of congress. Cut off this $787 Billion, and the deficit would be less than they were during the GWB years.
I know Fish Lips ain't up, the the Dem from AK is, all I can say it Run Todd Palin Run !
It would probably fry Murkowski to no end to know she would have to work with him for the State of Alaska, given she seems like an elitist and he is down to earth...
Hey don’t tell him that, WE, in SC, don’t want him.
They said the same thing about Cruz’s “filibuster” and now Cruz is the frontrunner in the Republican Party. That could have been you Lindsey, if you had left the RINO party.
With Republicans like this moron, who needs Dems??
Graham needs to be retired ASAP along with McCain.
Depends upon the person....
[snip] Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has called President Obama a “pathetic leader” for his lack of involvement in negotiations to end the government shutdown. He slammed the presidents unwillingness to compromise with Republicans as “immature.” [/snip]
[snip] Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said Sunday he would not vote for a deal to reopen the government and raise the debt limit if it cannot attract support in the Republican-led House, arguing there is little point in claiming victory if a deal does not pass muster in the other chamber of Congress. [/snip]
Oh man...you’re being far too kind.
But at least Lindsay Graham can.
Based on everything in this thread and what we’ve come to expect from the GOP, I won’t be surprised if we start hearing rumors about Graham running in 2016.
I know, but it’s a family forum, turkey is not what I’m thinking.
“... and the home...of the....braaaave!”
What the hell kind of “political leverage” is he looking for? James Madison, et al, gave the House the power of the purse and the power to DENY funding to a runaway government. It’s a tool designed for exactly this political situation. It’s (almost) fool proof. Just say no and there’s not a damn thing the president or senate can do about it.
...And then comes the fools.
Naziism, Communism, Socialism, Liberalism, Progressivism, who can tell the difference? They are all aka Tyranny, the enemy of all Freedom Loving People. SHUT ‘ER DOWN!
Says the man who, because of his siding with the dems on so many issues, is facing the toughest reelection campaign of his career.
Marshall Petain: Face Reality That Hitler Can’t Be Stopped.
Tennessee has a couple of RINOs who gotta go. Sadly, Corker is in for five more, but we have Lamar! in our political cross hairs.
Prohibition couldn’t be stopped either.
I agree with you. Obamacare is will commit suicide. Wait till these folks go looking for a doctor.
Glad to see you on the mend!
Send LG packing!!!!
I'm not in SC but the money I would have donated to National RNC can still go to LG's candidacy or is it too late for that now and I should get another candidate to "vote" ($) against.
Have the voters of SC considered petitioning Sen. Graham, demanding that he resign immediately? Or would a Democrat or even worse Constitution-ignoring RINO than Graham possibly take his place at this time?
Susan Collins is up in 2014.
The Republican party is Maine is dis-jointed, so I don’t see a primary challenge against her.
I will vote third party or write in someone else’s name....I’m done voting for RINO’s. Just wou’t do it anymore.
This is per James Madison's Federalist 58 - the constitution gives the power of the purse to the people's representatives in the House for the specific purpose of reining in a runaway chief executive and senate. It' our constitutional check and balance on unconstitutional expansionist government.
Dear House Reps: Ignore the pathetic RINO surrender monkeys. We the people have your backs! Do your constitutional duty! Defund ObamaCare!! And hold the line on the debt!! Obama would spend us into oblivion if given the chance.
Exactly! They can't even do -NOTHING- right. Just sit down and shut up already and you win. It's not that difficult.
Time for those Traitors to go!
Lindsey Graham supports ObamaCare. Plain and simple
yes!..........that Graham either doesn’t get the power of the purse being vested in the House or he does and has been bought off and wants Obamacare to satisfy his owners(big insurance to name just one) is just as sickening either way! I personally despise McCain and Graham. Why they don’t do themselves a big favor and just sit down and shut up is beyond me.
Gee, I would think he was McCain’s obedient Wife.
Romney isn’t in the Senate, in fact he not serving in any Elected Office, so he doesn’t have a Dog in the Hunt.
I just don’t see the connection you are attempting to make.
I’m sure it’s just me though, carry on.
Agree absolutely. Anytime you put politicians in charge of an engineering project, political considerations will take precedence over good engineering principles. And eventually the chickens come home to roost - the space shuttle crashes, or the bridge collapses, or the ObamaCare project (project Titanic) sinks.
And put one of these fine folks in his place:

Thank you very much, machogirl!! God bless.
Too bad we didn’t face up to the fact that we couldn’t beat the Japanese, that we couldn’t beat the Germans, and that we couldn’t beat the commies in the cold war. /s
Quitting is not step one in solving a problem, Linseed.
To start with, the Repubs didn’t shut down the government, Lindsay. I quit reading after that comment.
The ACA puts too many levers of power in the hands of government for it to break down under its own weight. As it stands, they can just jettison the parts they dont like to save the core of it. They know that the McCains and others are already on board with it. That if the Republicans were to elect a moderate Republican like McCain or Romney, he would accept it much as Ike accepted the New Deal in 1953.Right now their aim is to help their Republican allies regain full control of the congressional party.
Screw that effeminate twerp. He is a pod person from invasion of the bogy snatchers. South Carolina will route him likje the dirty stinky PIG he is. Adios faggot.
