What if Ted Cruz had not been elected to the Senate? Whither Obamacare?
www.Examiner.com ^ | October 10, 2013 | Mark Whittington

In an October 10, 2013 story, Politico noted that the columnist and television personality Charles Krauthammer continued to criticize Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas for pursuing a strategy to attempt to defund the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

Krauthammer, among other establishment Republicans, has suggested the Cruz and his allies were being quixotic by pushing for the defund strategy, that there was no way that the Senate would accept such a move or that the president would sign it. He has also suggested that the government shutdown, which followed, has not redounded to the benefit to Republicans.

Cruz has, in effect, been set up to be the scape goat for any damage that the shutdown drama has caused to the

. . .

Fast forward to the 2014 elections. Millions of conservative voters, having concluded that elected Republicans won’t fight against Obamacare, would likely have stayed home, as they did in 2012 when they found Mitt Romney too much of a northeastern moderate for their taste.

The result would have been that not only would the Republicans not have taken the Senate, they might well have lost the House.

However with Cruz and others having fought the good fight and having dragged the rest of the congressional Republicans kicking and screaming, conservative voters see that there is someone looking after their interests.

Cruz once famously suggested that the Senate needed “100 Jesse Helms,” referring to a late arch conservative senator. Conservative voters might well now flock to the polls with the desire for “100 Ted Cruzes.” For one establishment Republicans, that might be a mixed blessing. The GOP may take the Senate now. But they will do so with a group of rambunctious tea party senators like Cruz who will not be prepared to go along to get along.

Without Ted Cruz and Mike Lee’s fight. Obamacare would, right at this very minute, be funded with a continuing resolution, through some deal, the debt ceiling would likely have been increased through some deal, and we would not have been witness to the militant, vindictive, arrogance of the Obama administration in making the people feel the pain of his wrath when somebody dares stand in his way.

Screw you, Charles Krauthammer! Go back to praising John Huntsman. And thank you Ted Cruz and Mike Lee!

If Cruz had not been elected their would very little resistance to the communist takeover.

Cruz and Lee have each others back, others have his back, only so long as it is politically profitable.

We would have the GOP plan to eliminate free health care and we would have never heard of Obamacare. I’m sure everyone agrees that would have happened.

And to think that the Democrats fighting re-districting in Texas gave Cruz enough more time to beat Dewhurst in the much-delayed Texas primary.

Once Cruz got on the same stage with Dewhurst before television cameras, it was no contest.

If the GOP takes control of the Senate then the party leadership will give Cruz none of the credit. If they don’t take control of the Senate then the GOP leadership will give Cruz all of the blame.

Dewhurst and his short little buddy got down in the mud to beat Cruz. It was very ugly.

Dewhurst will be out in this next election.

Dewhurst’s short little buddy is apparently “Fed Up” and will not be running for re election.

Good words to live by, but in all theses matters we must have a voice with which to communicate to set the brush fires of liberty.

Right now the American people have no honest idea who we are, what we are standing for or why we we are passionately fighting for our rights. It is a most unfortunate fact but the Democrats have such a field of total domination over the media that they can and have been able to tell the people the most insane things.

Obama is determined to enrage our sentiments with his outrageous actions and assaults upon our liberty. The truth is a large part of the reason he can do this without consequences is because of the color of his skin.

AS most of you know for 50 years our generation has been indoctrinated to think Blacks & other minorities are oppressed and anyone who speaks out against their vices legitimate or otherwise is a “racist” and illegitimate.

Ironically this mentality is an even greater disaster for theses minorities large sections of which live progressively more self-destructive lives than it is for our country in the form of Obama who’s countless practical blunders continue to go largely unaddressed, ignored, and of course unaccounted for.

Because they are shielded from criticize by the ever present charge of racism & discrimination, they never retrospect and improve their behavior and as a result things for them simply continue to spiral out of control.

This of course is not only what happens to them in their home life & commodities this but to anyone under unaccountable leadership.

We are culturally ill-equip to fight this evil and that is precisely the way Democrats have planned it for the last 50 years. Our only real hope is to get anther minority to try and take advantage of the same loophole while using that immunity to compete on the same fields.

Of course we Know how the Dems feel about black republicans, and we may not even like every policy of theses politicians. Certainly they ain’t necessarily going to be the best and most talented of our population coming from only a small segment of it. But we must deal with the world that is, and unfortunately thanks to 50 years of Democrat’s running our schools and mass Media racism is the law of the land.

“We would have the GOP plan to eliminate free health care and we would have never heard of Obamacare. I’m sure everyone agrees that would have happened.”

You need to phraze it a whole lot better than that. Neverforget that a large section of america if not a majority are greedy, shortsighted, and/or blinded by what they think is compassion. The rest are Democratic lapdogs due to racial hate, and thus their heart’s believes & convictions are irrelevant even to them.

You must call it poll tested words like accountability, and personal freedom. We have to frame the debate, and that is going to be extremely hard given democrats control most all the mouth piece from liberal hack Jon Stewart to CNN.
