“The instructor said AFA could be considered a hate group because they don’t like gays,” the soldier told me. “The slide was talking about how AFA refers to gays as sinners and heathens and derogatory terms.”
The soldier, who is an evangelical Christian, said the chaplain defended the Christian ministry.
“He kept asking the instructor, ‘Are you sure about that, son? Are you sure about that?’” he said, recalling the back and forth.
Later in the briefing, the soldiers were reportedly told that they could face punishment for participating in organizations that are considered hate groups.
That considered, the soldier contacted me because he is a financial contributor to the AFA ministry.
“I donate to AFA as often as I can,” he said. “Am I going to be punished? I listen to American Family Radio all day. If they hear it on my radio, will I be faced with a Uniformed Code of Military Justice charge?”
The soldier said he was “completely taken back by this blatant attack not only on the AFA but Christians and our beliefs.”

As Christian, the Catholic Church states very clearly, as any Protestant Christian church would, that homosexual behavior is sinful, but that, all of us being sinners, we are to love the homosexual.
There is no question of dislike, hatred, judgement or anything of the sort.
Vice versa is true in a case where homosexual militants demand that their lifestyle is to be accepted and condoned
And there is misinterpretation.
But there is no such thing as hatred or dislike allowed in the Catholic Church

Why isn’t there now an avalanche of support and a gargantuan push for a federal marriage amendment to repudiate the Supreme Joke’s DOMA decision? I think it’s doable, but not if people are going to cower in the shadows.

It is absolutely essential that the officers who promulgate such rot and anti-Americanism be identified and purged when there is a Republican commander in chief.

Disgusting. As I’ve said, if you’re a Christian in the military, I thank you for your service, and encourage you to get out as soon as possible. You’re fighting for a government that hates your guts, and I doubt God would want you to risk your life saving unsavory filth like this instructor.
God asks us to dedicate our lives to His service as we can. The American military of today is NOT in service to the Lord. It is a den of sexual immorality and persecution.

We should not shrink from judging because God tells us to judge.
In Catholicism, it is clearly interpreted and instructed in the list of Works of Mercy - to admonish sinners, (reminding them and/or informing them) what their Creator tells them not to do in order to be happy, healthy and to gain eternal life with Him.
Admonishing involves judging. That’s how the deviants will take it, and we can’t sugar-coat this fact.
I won’t argue the point. God’s rules are for our happiness, health, joy and salvation.
So, admonishing does not first presuppose judging that a behavior is wrong?

In Catholicism, judging is what God does after you’re dead. We use the word judge for what you are saying it is, interchangeably with discernment. It’s fine
