Vote Lonegan for US Senate this Wednesday October 16th in New Jersey, GOTV
Steve Lonegan for US Senate ^ | October 14, 2013 | steelers6

Posted on 10/14/2013 1:58:43 PM PDT by Steelers6

Steve Lonegan has dedicated his time in public life to fighting for New Jersey taxpayers. When he became mayor of Bogota, NJ in 1996, Lonegan immediately cut municipal spending, eliminated wasteful and duplicative services, privatized some functions and instituted a more cost-efficient, user-friendly government. As a result, Bogota’s municipal spending remained constant for the entire 12 years of Steve’s tenure. He also kept debt and tax increases far below inflation despite massive state mandates and aid reductions to suburban towns like Bogota. Thanks to Steve’s strong, conservative leadership, Republicans kept council control for 11 straight elections, and Steve was reelected in 1999 and 2003 by double-digit margins over his Democratic opponents. During his time as mayor, Steve also led statewide campaigns on behalf of New Jersey taxpayers. Whether it was fighting the Newark Arena, illegal state bonding, or proposed gasoline tax hikes, Steve was willing to take on leaders in both parties to do what was right for New Jersey’s working families. In 2006, Steve joined Americans for Prosperity as state director of the New Jersey chapter where he continued to fight for taxpayers and achieved a number of successes. He helped defeat an 8 percent sales tax increase on the statewide ballot, led the successful fight to stop Governor Corzine’s $38 billion toll hike, and led the defeat of taxpayer-financed legislative elections in the state. Steve Lonegan was born in Teaneck’s Holy Name Hospital, grew up and graduated from high school in Ridgefield Park where he set several high school track records. Steve earned a B.A. in business administration from William Paterson College where he was football team captain and an All Conference Division Center. In 1981, he earned an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to becoming Americans for Prosperity New Jersey state director, Steve built and managed retail, custom homebuilding and manufacturing businesses, employing dozens of workers. - See more at: http://www.loneganforsenate.com/about-steve-lonegan/#sthash.H4epClgc.dpuf

I just made 25 quick calls for SL and every person that answered emphatically said they’d vote for him. I know I was calling a captive audience but no one I got hold of was complacent.

Great job. Let’s flush T-bone down the crapper.

It will destroy the entire media narrative that the shutdown is hurting us.

I received my sample ballot and it said “October 16th 2013” was election day.
I know when election day is on Tuesday it is never stated, but this is a unique Wednesday election Day. So legally they could not note “Wednesday”?
I guess the dummies might show tomorrow & then return Wednesday :)

CORY'S TWEET PAL---STRIPPER LYNSIE LEE ENDORSES CORY

"I helped Cory revitalize Newark. A Medical Arts practice is coming to Newark----bringing in surgeons board certified in vaginal rejuvenations (aka "The Wrigley Procedure"--- doubles the pleasure, doubles the fun--lasts longer, too). "

"There's a teeny tiny chance that the unthinkable could happen when a vagina is rejuvenated (lined w/ guar gum). So doctors board certified in castration and penile extraction techniques are on-callNot to worry, Obamacare covers all procedures."

VOTE FOR CORY "Cory is no fly-by-night guy. He and
Obama are compassionate Democrats, helping women make the
right choices about their vaginas."

==========================================

BTW, Lynsie also helped Cory choose his
campaign slogan.... "The Eagle has landed."

PIC BY /James Oliveira/Splash News

Course, this is just a wild guess---naturally, I could
be dead wrong---but looks to me like Lynsie's very,
very patriotic.

THE ENDORSEMENTS BOOKER WOULD RATHER FORGET

Cory Booker, Loretta Weinberg, Barack Obama and Jon Corzine. | AP Photo

POLITCO---8/21/13--A photo snafu followed Obama's formally endorsing Booker. / By MAGGIE HABERMAN

The campaign of Senate hopeful and Newark Mayor Cory Booker briefly posted a picture of the candidate with former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, one of the state’s least popular Democrats, covering his face with a graphic before pulling it from the website.

Wednesday’s photo snafu came after Obama formally endorsed Booker, an unsurprising move but one that could help with online fundraising.

Booker’s campaign posted a picture with Obama and the Newark mayor. Corzine was also in the picture. Corzine's face was partly obscured by a translucent blue graphic, which served only to call more attention to it. The picture was pulled within minutes and ultimately replaced with one of Obama alone.

The pulled photo was reported by Business Insider.

Booker has not, in the course of the campaign, renounced Corzine, who lost his bid for reelection to Republican Chris Christie in 2009. But few Democrats tether themselves to him either.

(POSTER'S NOTE: Corzine is under investigation b/c $1.3 Billion investors money disappeared from MF Global, the company he founded after losing. As Gov, Corzine also bankrupted several state agencies to the tune of billions.)

The people of NJ are not smart enough to elect a conservative. Not hating just reflecting upon the empirical evidence. McConnell will be primaried out. Hope I am wrong about NJ.

It felt good to press the button for Lonegan this morning. It’s rare in NJ to be able to vote for a conservative at a national level who is both prolife and pro2A.

I voted for Lonegan at 8 AM, number 17 of the day. The school had their voter parking lot completely filled up with government teacher cars. Normally it's left open. I had to park illegally in front of the school. What cheaters! But I'm a broken glass voter. There are many nice churches nearby, but leftist voters are allergic to those.

It was also a win for the RNC - they actually ran ads asking for money for Lonegan, but kept it all, sending none of it to NJ.

Money isn't everything, but when the other side can spend 10 to 1 over us, it does turn up the heat in the toaster.
