The latest outline of a potential Senate deal to end the fiscal impasse and government shutdown calls for keeping the government funded until Jan. 15 and raising the debt limit through Feb. 15, congressional aides told ABC News today.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senator Minority Leader Mitch McConnell are spearheading the negotiations as the White House postponed a planned afternoon meeting with congressional leaders to give them time to do their work.
It is still a moving target, but the plan is the framework for what McConnell and Reid believe could make a deal -- "and avoid repeating this all over again at Christmas," in the words of one top adviser.
But it's unclear how House Speaker John Boehner, who is being advised on the plan, and his Republican conference would react to any Senate deal. Boehner met this afternoon with McConnell for about 30 minutes for "an update on negotiations," a spokesman said.

this “shutdown” has been great hasn’t it. i didn’t think it could happen with the GOPe against us and to have it last this long, icing on the cake. but kudos to Sen.’s Cruz, Lee and the House conservatives for putting it together.
it’s so great to be on offense after so long on defense.
the benefits are many and will be on going for true conservatives. they are readily seen for those with eyes to see.
What’s the point of income verification during the enrollment process?
The IRS controls Obamacare, so all they need to do is compare your enrollment claim/subsidy to your tax return. Liars get stuck with a tax bill, a penalty, and all ur property are belong to us!

Which means that to sign up and receive benefits you must come forward. Come April 16 and no tax return they will cut off healthcare and come after you for back taxes
Boehner and the boys are actually grasping for something that conservatives will like so they can pretend to be conservatives who are winning the fight against Obama.
Lets start that conversation by acknowledging we arent going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants... bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society. Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors. [but hes not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.
