It's in this environment that the Ohio State Senate has passed this bill which would essentially eliminate all third party candidates from ballots. In the bill, only candidates from parties which earned 3% or more of the vote in a presidential election would be placed on the ballot;

If Tea Party supporter candidates can't garner more than 3% of the votes, they don't deserve to be on the ballot.
That's one sixth of the votes Ross Perot got...

Guess the GOP-e are scared on many levels...

They have been unsuccessful at marginalizing the Tea Party and they now realize they are losing the GOP to the Tea Party and if we break off from the GOP as a real political party...the GOP is over.

WTAM this morning over the past 5 minutes they have been interviewing someone in regards to the shutdown/debt issue. Why is the Senate taking the lead on this?

Answer: Because Boehner can’t control his party in the House due to the extreme conservatives in the Party. Essentially the conversation lead one to realize the stage is being set to call them in open rebellion.

This shouldn't really surprise anyone. This is the same state that just recently made it a felony to have a hidden compartment in your car. That's right, the previous owner of your used car put some kind of hiding place in it, you can be charged with a felony. Of course you will have the opportunity to prove your innocence in court. I'm sure any lawyer here can tell you that fighting a felony charge should "only" cost you around $20,000.00. Or I'm sure you can get some kind of plea deal.
