You’ve seen this movie before, Iowa.
Stoking another round of what-if and what-could-be, Sarah Palin is planning a return to the state where presidential dreams are fevered even this far out from the next contest.
The Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition, a conservative and evangelical group, announced that the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee will speak at its 13thannual banquet on Nov. 9.
The announcement of the planned Des Moines speech comes at a time Palin has again raised her political profile. Over the weekend, she campaigned in New Jersey for long-shot Republican Senate candidate Steve Lonegan, who faces Democrat and Newark Mayor Cory Booker in Wednesday’s special election. Later, she showed up in Washington to protest the closure of federal monuments during the government shutdown, providing ballast to the tea party activists who have sought to defund the national healthcare program in exchange for movement on the budget and the debt ceiling.
And on Facebook, Palin on Monday accused President Obama of malfeasance in a post titled, “Obama’s Debt Default is on His Shoulders While We Shoulder His Impeachable Offenses.” Not to mention that he was “scaremongering the markets with his talk of default.”
“Defaulting on our national debt is an impeachable offense, and any attempt by President Obama to unilaterally raise the debt limit without Congress is also an impeachable offense,” Palin said, giving the president no option other than to cave to Republicans in Congress....

Sarah is outstanding and is not intimidated by the attacks against her. She did not have the Republican Party supporting her when she was running for VP. No point in continuing if the Republican Party did not stand behind her. LOOK what we have instead. Our nation is in HUGE DEBT and what do we have to show for it? It is not in bridges, highways, improvements in our infrastructure.
There are those that make a career in tearing others down. Ugly business. Republicans want the best available. Sarah fits the bill for me. We should be fortunate to have her. The other party wants total control and we see how much of a mess them have made, it will take many years to pay the debt they have created. It is still happening.
None of us are perfect. Jesus Christ is the best example ever of being unjustly attacked and killed. We are creating the dismantling of America, and our congress seems totally impotent.

For those that may not be aware.. Meagan Kelly has trashed Sarah in past years, and did it again yesterday on her show
She had a guy on talking about Sarah, said he wished she had not attended Washington rally, Meagan said either ...yes vet groups said the same, or that vet group said the same
She knew in advance of the show that Sarah was going to be spoken of in a negative way, she also spoke dismissively about Tea Party.
Kelly wants it both ways, she pretends to be some type of conservative, is not, she has on Diane Sawyer, says she is her idol

I have a particular affinity for Iowa.
My parents have roots in Pella; Dutch Reformed.
That part of the state has always been industrious, charitable, etc. but they are swarmed by Minnesota-lite.
If Sarah can help shift the tide there in purple Iowa, I believe other purple areas will follow. Christians/Conservatives on the ground have to do some work. Iowa is heavily unionized and somewhat naive as to the problems experienced eastward in the Rust Belt as their capitalistic work ethic has insulated them from large scale problems.
She is still the Real Deal.
Red States are solidly behind her, IMHO.
