IMHO, most Democrats, and their “Leftstream” Media KNOW that Republicans cannot win elections because:
* Weekly preemptive opinion poll attacks will make them afraid of their own shadows;
* Most voters hate politics, so the “Leftstream” Media gives out only low-information, anti-Republican news every day;
* “Everybody knows” that the Republicans are split so badly on foolish issues such as Obamacare that the sensible Republicans would never support a POTUS Candidate who is not in the mold of Dole, McCain or Romney.
* Republicans are nice to have around to be blamed if things go wrong, but they should never be taken seriously as potential challengers for any public service elected office.

BTW, Doormat RINOs such as Boehner, McConnell, McCain and Graham have done everything in their sorry power to justify the Democrat’s low opinion of ALL Republicans.

Ky’s motto is “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”. I think McC see himself as the “uniter”: but will the uninformed in KY?

I really wonder how many elections are even real. How many of the counts are controlled by the same people who just pulled that little debt trick that “added” $328 billion to the debt in one day?

I don’t trust the vote counters, and that is a damn shame.

Mitch McConnell. That dam RINO.

Costs his constituents tens of billions of dollars in taxes or a 2 billion dollar dam.

What a negotiator.

Ann Coulter says McC is much “more conservative” than Bevan, whom she says is indebted to government programs in his business.

I know, but Ann thinks Addison Mitchell McConnell, Jr., is as good as the KY Derby. So do many KY people, I guess.

Odds are in his favor for the nomination, but it's not a slam dunk. I think he is miscalculating by trying to nuke Bevin in such a nasty way. He will not be able to beat Grimes at the polls in the general election. He desperately needs the conservative base for this one, yet he has pissed all over us. I will not vote for him in the general election. I suspect I have a lot of company in that regard.

McConnell and the power brokers in the party that he represents are my enemies. No getting around that fact.

” - - - [1] The politically disastrous government shutdown
and [2] the uncompromising posture of conservatives has pushed the GOP Establishment to a tipping point. - - - “

Note: For the sake of discussion, I have annotated the key quote (IMHO) from the thread article.

It is worthwhile for us Conservatives to take notice of what the RINO Establishment deems important after being bypassed for nearly 5 years by an Oppressive Communist takeover of the US Federal Government.

During the recent partial shutdown of the US Federal Government, the “Just Say NO!” intransigent obstructionism of Communist Senator Harry Reid and Communist Tyrant B. Hussein Obama has been successfully sold to the RINO Establishment by the ever-helpful Leftstream Media as “disastrous.” [See point # 1 above.]

In fact, the main disaster was that the laid off Federal employees were given back pay for the days they were on shutdown vacation.

Notice how quick the RINO Establishment has been to accept the Leftstream Media’s second point:” The uncompromising posture of Conservatives. “ [See point # 2 above.]

This quickness to reject “Courage of one’s convictions,” “Principle,” and other stellar virtues of duly elected political party members is the most revealing “tell” of the lack of a philosophy that represents the voters who elected them.

If we, the Conservatives Voters, have learned anything from TARP to Obamacare, it should, IMHO, be this:

A Republican in Name Only, (RINO), will always support the easiest possible solution, regardless of the great harm that will be done to the United States of America.

_________

Now comes the difficult part for each of us Conservative Voters.

1.) Do we re-elect a pro-Democrat RINO in the vain, (IMHO), hope that somehow a RINO “majority” will actually rollback the great harm done to our Country from TARP to Obamacare? IOW, “THIS time it will be different!”

2.) Do we attack, full-bore, the RINO Establishment as the proven useless guardian of the US Constitution and American Core Values?

2014 is the perfect time to decide to accept or reject the RINO Establishment, IMHO.

What say all of you?

Yes. We have no choice. "We" have procrastinated forcing the issue for decades in the hopes that the RINOs would get religion and that they would bring this country back incrementally, albeit very slowly. Mitch McConnell is flat out stating that will never happen.

Constitutionalist conservatives are essentially in a Dunkirk like position, except that there is no one to rescue us. Do we surrender or fight the good fight despite the near impossibility of victory?.

To put it another way, we are going to lose. Do we do it facing and resisting the oppressors? Or do we do it grabbing our ankles, hoping they use a lube?

Screw them. Whatever they get, they will have to earn.

With 80% initial (2009) polled voter opposition to Obamacare, and 73 % polled voter opposition to Obamacare now, Boehner-Cantor-Ryan rammed through the Ryan-Murray “Compromise” Bill to finance “The Law of the Land” Marxist Obamacare Bill for the next two years!

Only 94 House members stood and delivered opposition to this cave-in bill, thus insuring TWO MORE YEARS of Obamanation Crisis Economics to burden us voters with!

The 2014 Election needs to be about ridding the US House from the RINOs who caved-in on this bill, as we cannot trust them ever again to protect us from the Marxist Senate, Marxist Supreme Court, or Marxist Administration.

___________________

On the Democrat side, you Lurkers need to be honest with yourselves concerning continuing your loyalty to your Marxist Democrats and Marxist Progressives in the US House and Senate.

FYI, a Marxist is anyone who believes in “Income Redistribution.”

Income Redistribution is just the PC term for what Karl Marx advocated:
“FROM EACH ACCORDING TO HIS ABILITY, TO EACH ACCORDING TO HIS NEED.”
