FOX Sports Southwest hired former NFL running back Craig James as an on-air analyst only to fire him days later. The move came after statements he made on gay marriage while campaigning for the Senate resurfaced.
"People choose to be gay," he said during an April 2012 campaign stop. "I think it's a choice, I do. Same-sex marriage, if someone chooses to do that, that's done. And God's going to judge each one of us in this room for our actions. And in that case right there, they're going to have to answer to the Lord for their actions."
James said it was those sincerely held religious beliefs that led to the Sept. 2 firing.
"I was shocked that my personal religious beliefs were not only the reason for FOX Sports firing me, but I was completely floored when I read stories quoting FOX Sports representatives essentially saying that people of faith are banned from working at Fox Sports," James told Breitbart.com.
While one statement from FOX Sports seems to confirm James' suspicions, another contradictory statement said the former running back was let go because he wasn't a good fit for the position.
Now James is pursuing legal action against the network.

You posted: What if youre a born murderer. Is it OK for them to murder?

The stock reply to your reasonable question is: Oh, so now you’re equating being gay to murder! You are a hater, etc. etc.
Whatever happened to keeping one's personal beliefs out of the limelight and just doing one's job? Conservative or Lib....I don't give a flying fig what someone's politics are. Just do the job you were hired to do. Do it better then anyone else if you can and take pleasure in that.
Deep down, sex positive agenda advocates accept that acting on homosexual desires is a choice. However, control of desires is unthinkable in their hedonist worldview.
The Sex Positive Agenda (as espoused by Kinsey, Reich, and socialist feminists) seeks to end ALL moral judgments over sexual pairings of any kind regardless of sex, age, relation, marital status, number, or species of partner(s). Orgasm is a birthright to be enjoyed at every age and indoctrination should begin early on.
The “scientific tags” like “longer fingers” etc. are just a red herring. They don’t CARE if it is naturally occurring or unnaturally. They believe the desires (whatever the cause) should be acted upon.
They believe that abstinence is unnatural, that it is a supression of sexual desire. If it feels good, do “him”. Married? Blood relation? Too young? Doesn’t matter to them. Stop being “judgey”.
“Homophobia” is as prevalent as it’s ever been on high school playing fields.
Thank God.
Of course, he was "homophobic" because he feared he was a closet sodomite. See Strategies and psychological tactics
In Scripture it shows the rise as being concomitant with rise in "pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness,.." And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. (Ezekiel 16:49, 50)
Things are passed on, and which can include a propensity to homosexuality, or alcohol, etc., but so it a propensity to sin. so imagine what we can justify by the "i was born that way" rational. And see what it is costing us.
If another consensual activity, such as taking part in the Lord's supper, resulted in a greatly increased incidence of infection diseases and premature death, what do you think the normal reaction of the public and gov. would be? Treat them as a protected class, or protect the people, esp. kids, from them?
It is true that alternative explanations must be considered, however, do you think any announcer could say what he did and remain on any national network without a kowtowing apology?
This is part of the broad way of destruction, in moral decline.
He probably has the wherewithal to sue the pants off Fox for this. It’s against the law to discriminate based upon a person’s creed.
Neither will inherit the kingdom of heaven.
Sinners of all kinds, redeemed by grace, will enter the kingdom of heaven... I believe.
Through faith in Christ, absolutely,
