Obama is lying anyway, so why should they even believe anything he tells them?

RE :” laws be faithfully executed but then can turn around and offer to enforce the law as a ‘compromise.’’

Pass a law that says that Obama must enforce an existing law. Isnt that implied already? And in constitution?

My email to Mick Mulvenney SC 5th Dist.
“This spending has to stop somewhere, all they are ALL doing is trying to kick the can down the road like they’ve done for years.
We’re broke period.
A good start would be the elimination of Baseline Budgeting.
You can’t grow the government at 10% a year when the GNP is at less than 2%.
Please vote NO on ANY bill that does not address a reduction in Spending.
As for Obamacare....No deals for Unions or anyone else.. we’re either all in or all out.”

The FBP will not, cannot be impeached.
That’s why the Communists chose him for the final push over the cliff.

All Obama wants is consolidated power under the executive branch, completely unconsititutional.

I keep hearing this from Freepers and other conservatives in articles I see here.

But what is the point? Even if the House were to impeach (which they won't), what makes ANYBODY think that the Senate would remove him from office?

Don't get me wrong -- I do believe that the bastard should be impeached and removed from office. But there is just no way that it would be anything but a symbolic vote in the House.

The point is that if a POTUS shreds the Constitution he gets impeached. Then later a POTUS without a tan will think twice about trying the El Presidente dictator routine.

Impeachment would change the conversation from being about Ted Cruz to being about Obama. One does not have to succeed to change the dynamic.

The Marxist has all the cover he needs from the MSM.

Our Constitution be damned.

Never mind that the US Senate would never go along with Articles of Impeachment, even were the House to act.

From day 1, Barky has refused to enforce laws he didn’t like.

Congress has standing to sue Barky to enforce the laws, but then it would be up to the executive branch to enforce the court decision...

The only choice left would be impeachment. Yeah, that will happen...

A President who governs entirely by whim — that is indeed a “fundamental transformation” of America.

Yes Obama will not be removed from office because there are enough lawless dems to prevent that. The goal of impeachment in this case is not to remove him from office. The goal is quite simple.

1. Following the Constitution and fulfilling one’s duty as a member of congress. If one really believes he has committed impeachable acts he must be impeached. If one does not believe that to be the case then of course impeachment should never be used for political gamesmanship

2. Justice. Obama will forever be known as the 3rd President to be impeached. Since liberals typically write our history this is at least one way to indicate for future generations the wrongs committed by this man. He is tarnished forever.

I say do what is right and let the chips fall where they may.

Yes, but it's not "implied," it's back letter there in in Article II, section 3, which states, among other things that, "he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed," so now the POS is negotiating over whether he'll comply with the Constitution. Never mind that the last paragraph of Article II, section 1 required him to swear, and he swore, that,

I will faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States and will to the best of my Ability preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

I believe that the house needs to continue the shut down. If the government defults it will be by choice. Not raising debt does not defualt the government. Put these idiots out of their comfort zone and when the sky doesn’t fall we will finally see this circus for what it is. Tell old yellow stain Boenher he better not cave. If they default it means they did it purposely. Remember the horror stories about Sequester. Nothing happened.

Somebody needs to do a graphic of Satan tempting Jesus in the wilderness, only have Satan saying, “If you only bow down to me I will actually enforce 10% of the laws you pass...”

Exactly! However the ministry of propaganda never mentions that fact. The entire 17 trillion isn't due right now, and something known as "prioritization" can be done, just like what people in the real world do every day.

But the ministry of propaganda refuses to bother telling the truth. And I believe that Barky is amoral enough to try to crash our economy by choosing to default on T-Bill interest payments.

Plaintalk: "He is (would be) tarnished forever."

He should be impeached. As one poster said, it's the duty of the House to do so as he fits the criteria many times over.

As far as being tarnished, that is true.

Clinton has been tarnished forever.

(He was impeached for the wrong reasons, should have been for his being financed by the Chinese whom he repaid by giving them military secrets that allowed them to target the USA with nuclear missiles. The congress critters either refused to look at all the evidence and the ones that did decided to ignore Clinton's blatant use of intimidation, rape, murder, beatings of his enemies and the breaking of many laws.)

But look where Clinton is in the eyes of the democrats.

He is their NUMBER ONE elder statesman.

Does that hurt him at this time? No. The MSM covers for him just as they do for Marxist Obama, America basher/terrorist supporter par excellence.

Yep. The media and even historians may spin an impeachment as a badge of honor I suppose. People can be scum. We can only do what we can do. We should do our duty.

Having said all that impeachment is a serious matter and I am not convinced this House full of RINOs have the guts to do it

Yup, just like the Senate didn't have the guts to prosecute Clinton in spite of the overwhelming evidence against him.

RINO's will go to extremes to not rock the boat.

Shades of the tea party of old, throw them out of the boat and see if they can swim!
