Aetna's CEO gave a harshly critical review Monday of the federal government's Obamacare marketplace, saying, "There's so much wrong, you just don't know what's broken until you get a lot more of it fixed."

Gee one of the evil insurers (as the administration would have us believe) is actually a human being and doesn’t have devil horns. I think he is being gracious in giving them this much credit and personally, I am thankful for the years my insurance company has taken care of me when I was in the midst of crisis. You can be sure the government won’t. They will be trying to stack us up against other patients and deciding who should die.
We don’t know what’s in it until we pass it.
We don’t know what’s broken until we fix it.
WTF?
For half of what they spent I would have like to have had a shot and started my own company to do it. That said. I could not in good conscious pursued the contract since I oppose the product.

Fake Health Exchange Sites Easily Identifiable Because They Work

Some health insurance brokers are setting up states that mimic the name and look of the official state exchanges. But the fake sites are easily identifiable because, unlike the official sites, they work.
The unofficial sites can sell real insurance plans however those plans have not been certified by the government and are therefore not eligible for government subsidies. So if you log on to a health insurance exchange site that seems to be working properly, caveat emptor.
Im guessing that there will be a new batch of nigerian sites....coming online shortly.
He may be “Too Big to Audit” but that we can not control.....
it does seem to have sort of a echo-like ambience about it.
I think some of them have testing the water by hacking internet sites of md groups and other health groups. This apparently started this past summer.
Im betting that there are tens of thousands of companies far more “adept” shall we say...than the geniuses from Canada who built this mess and Canada’s SINGLE PAYER site.
I till leaning toward the opinion that this was built to be a failure...so we would have to opt for single payer,,in the near future
this is the fiasco of fiascos.
say, when the ObummerCare collapses, forget fixing medical care with single-payer. Instead, let’s fix the whole dang thing by letting the free market work its magic for a change.
I had a debaclech and the doctor told me to have it out.
Like State Senator Pat Colbeck's Legislation that lost by one vote in the Michigan Senate..
It combined HSA's with Concierge Service and would have saved Medicare and Medicaid 50% per person. Those are 2 free-market ideas combined to give you a great product at a good pricepoint...
they can be VERY Problmeatic if not tended to!!
Ech!
In a SANE WORLD....peopled by mature adults!!
ObamaScare will make prohibition look like a wonderful law.
Thanks to alloysteel for this excellent History reminder lesson:
"After all, Prohibition was the law of the land (under the 18th Amendment), and the politics of its widespread loss of respect for the law resulted in its repeal (21st Amendment).
The 21st Amendment did not totally end Prohibition. The individual states could then vote in local option for either being wet or dry. But the power was stripped from the Federal government to enforce prohibition anywhere.
How was that for repeal and replace?
time to REPEAL obamaCare...and Replace...Obama
Now THATS my kind of Repeal and Replace.
