Survey: More Americans Trust GOP to Manage Economy

Approval ratings for Republican leadership in Congress may be at an all-time low, but a new survey shows that more Americans trust the GOP with handling the economy.

A Pew Research survey said that 44 percent of Americans trusted Republicans more with managing the economy while 37 percent said they favored Democratic control of the economy.

GOP Runs Even on Economy, Managing Government: More people continue to blame Republicans than the Obama administration for the government shutdown, and the GOP is widely viewed as more extreme and less cooperative than the Democratic Party. However, as many say the Republican Party as the Democratic Party can better manage the federal government. And by 44% to 37%, slightly more say the GOP is better able to handle the nation’s economy.

The Drive-by Media are missing something. Most Americans “blame” the Republicans for the shut down. But they aren’t considering that many Americans support the shutdown until the Regime agrees to quit spending like a drunken Democrat. So, change that “blame” to “credit.”

The government has no business managing the economy in a free country.

“GOP is widely viewed as more extreme and less cooperative than the Democratic Party”

How many is widely? This tells me that this poll is skewed and that it is truly awful for the dims. How can anyone think that the dims position of “WE WILL NOT NEGOTIATE” is MORE cooperative. I call bull poop!

I think that’s the case too. If those that support reining in the drunken sailors blame the Republicans for anything, it’s that they’re not successful enough.

Can’t say, but my guess is the R’s maintain and strengthen control of the House and probably take the Senate.

I was thinking the same thing, blame doesn’t necessarily mean something bad in this case.
