Praying for Lonegan to take this thing, regardless. Godspeed, Lonegan!
Christie could be doing more for Lonegan...
He should be stepping up and being out and visible all day promoting Lonegan, everywhere.
Booker is typical POS obama rubber stamp if he gets in.
Christie endorsed Lonegan...and then went back into the Obamabot closet!!! But....before you totally condemn Governor Christie, let’s call a spade a spade. It was Christie that set the special election date on a Wednesday in October rather then on the regular election day in November when Christie is on the ballot!!! He accomplished two things.....one Booker would not be running the same day as he would...which helps Christie score a massive victory...and number two.....Christie gave Steve Lonegan a “Turnout” election...where Steve Lonegan could work very hard to draw a bigger turn out then Cory Booker.
Now it is up to the voters in New Jersey to turn out in massive numbers to support Steve Lonegan!!! NJ...vote for and support...STEVE LONEGAN for US Senate!!! GO STEVE!!!
Don't want to expend any unnecessary energy. When they get up to get the checks out of the mailbox, they'll vote on the way to cashing them.
Thank you for the thread. I am not in NJ, so I needed this reminder to say a prayer.
Related, it is my understanding that the exact amount of support from the NRSC was... drum-roll... $0.00.
Exactly, to the penny.
Get out the Vote! Get out the Vote!
Simple answer to your question: no.
Thanks for your’s and other’s responses. I just hope Christie doesn’t take his act on a national stage. Go Lonegan (at least my Mom will vote for him today)!
Destroy Booker!
Come on, GOTV!
Thanks for starting this thread
Lonegan is a good guy. Booker is a fraud. But Booker will win by 8-10 pts today.
There is nobody there because Conservatives are out numbered 1000 to 1 in Hoboken. Why should a liberal bother to waste it’s time going to vote? Liberals know that their party leaders have more than enough votes pigeon-holed in closets, trunks of cars, floating in coffee cans,.... to more than handle any rush of Conservative activism.
Question. I do not live in New Jersey so I know nothing about Steve Lonegan. Is he a real Conservative or is he a Chris Christie (RINO) conservative?
What the middle-class Democrats of NJ do, will send a message across the country.
The main Dem constituencies don't like getting up early.
Steve Lonegan is a bonafide, true Conservative....period!!!
Let me ask you. Is Chris Christie a “true Conservative?”
Republicans vote today, democRATs vote tomorrow.
Lonegan was Tea Party before there was a Tea Party. He's been a conservative bullhorn for almost twenty years.
I expected to be the only voter there for this odd Wednesday special election, like is often the case for primaries and smaller elections.
There were about 5-6 other people voting there in the two minutes I was there. So turnout looks heavier than I expected in my town, which I'm certain will go for Lonegan.
Yep. Typical dem voter needs time to get up, brush his tooth, drink breakfast, watch porn, shuffle out to the mailbox for the welfare check, check for the new loaded minutes on the Obamaphone, watch porn, drink lunch, watch porn, catch the bus down to the QuikCash store to cash the welfare check, chill at the street corner, buy crack and a side of meth, walk to Popeye's and pick up a couple super-sized orders, go home, eat the two supersized Popeye's meals while watching porn, fall asleep, wake up and watch porn, then ride the SEIU bus to the voting precinct, vote for whoever has a (D) beside their name, go home and proceed to bitch at the baby mama about how long a day he had.
NO!!! Christie is a skilled politician who can play chess really well!!! But...he is no true conservative and would most likely be a much better POTUS then Obama. Obama is the worst and most corrupt POTUS in the history of the USA!!!
“brush his tooth”
You mean his ‘toof’ haha
Let’s hope we Coakley T Bone Booker
For Out-Of State Folks: Can we get an idea how turnout & makeup of the voters thus far is going??? Please post your comments and thoughts. Would be most deeply appreciated!!! THANKS!!!
Just went down to the local Church polling place to vote for Steve. I get a good feeling about this. There is only ONE sign in my town, Allendale, NJ, for Booker, way out on a front lawn of an expensive house approaching our downtown area.
LONEGAN signs stud all entry ramps to Rte. 17, north and south, none for Booker.
By all accounts, turnout in Newark is light, and it will be interesting to see the stats when this is all over-—I’d love to see a strong showing for Steve in Newark, but I don’t expect a majority, by any means. I think Lonegan will win.
Prayers up for steve to win.
I expect the rat strongholds will again WAIT until they see how many votes are needed?
Seconded. One Freeper in Hoboken says turnout was light in the early morning (rat central), and another in Bergen said the turnout is steadily sizable (conservative area).
We need more reports from the frontline. Is there static in the air, and does it smell like its for Hollywood Booker or Lonegan?
If Lonegan wins this, it will mean all of NJ has turned racist. </s>
Get a Democrat phone list, call them all and remind them to be sure and vote tomorrow. ;-)
Have you been down to Newark to check the turnout, or was it on local T.V.? If you actually went down there, I hope you wore body armor.
Same thing in Allendale, dead.
I am also expecting Newark to post a surprising vote for Lonegan. From the interviews I’ve seen, his constituents hate him.
Voted this am. in Union Township.....(:
That being Booker.
Any sense of how things were looking?
It was slow.....I’m sure it will be busier after 5, I went at 10:00.
The illegal and cemetary voters come out well after lunchtime.
"You Can't Catch Me" - The Rolling Stones
Here's the Jersey part:
"...New Jersey Turnpike in the wee, wee hours,
I was rollin' slow because of drizzlin' showers.
Here come a flat-top, he was movin' up with me,
Then come wavin' goodbye a little old souped-up jitney.
I put my foot in my tank and I began to roll.
Moanin' siren, 'twas a state patrol.
So I let out my wings and then I blew my horn,
Bye-bye New Jersey, I become airborne...."
(Vote early, vote often, become airborne...) :-)
I remain optimistic, but I do remember the Markey/Gomez race. Very low turnout, and Markey won by just over 10%. Polls had predicted 13%.
However, Gomez was a fraud, so I doubt many turned out for him. Lonegan is the real deal, which could bring the race within reach.
Some strategist recently opined, if blacks don’t turn out, Booker is toast.
That’s another thing, ethnics play here much more than in Mass.
I think whites are more likely to turn up in a special election, especially one where Booker has been out of state when he should have been stirring racial hatred.
If Booker manages to lose, that will be the sole takeaway for the Democrats, and they will turn the burner higher.
It’s an odd election day, without precedent in NJ history, so the polls should be viewed with a grain of salt. Nobody knows what the turnout electorate in a special election held on a Wednesday in October will look like.
“Lets go, Conservatives... we always demand conservative candidates and make the claim theyd win if theyd get nominated... well, in NJ today and in VA next month, here are the opportunities to put it all to the test. You cant get more conservative than Lonegan and Cuccinelli. There is NO excuse for sitting at home this time. Turn out and vote... ALL HANDS are needed!”
Just thought this needed to be said once again. Hope your post moves some people who otherwise may stay home/at work.
Here’s the direct link to the poll...

Right now Lonegan is winning but it could be from other states voting.

Just voted...

With Dims wanting - many demanding - the one year delay of 0Care and the wind at Bonehead's back...why on Earth would he capitulate so easily?? He's handing EVERYTHING over to the Dims, with this. Not to mention sending a deflating message to NJ. POS poser loser, he is.
Establishment RINO's would rather hand victory to Dims than have a Conservative wave take place in DC. A pox on ALL RINO's.
As long as they get to keep their DC perks, they're happy.
I wonder what time bus loads of illegal aliens, dead democrat voters and out of state Union people will show...
