With Enemies Like This, ObamaCare Doesn't Need Friends
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 10/15/2013 | IBD Staff

Talking Points: If ObamaCare's liberal friends are calling its launch a "failure," an "inexcusable mess" and "beyond the pale," why are ObamaCare's Republican enemies completely tongue-tied about this unfolding train wreck?

Earlier in the week, former Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs called ObamaCare's launch "excruciatingly embarrassing."

The Washington Post's Ezra Klein, one of ObamaCare's most shameless boosters, said it was a "disaster" and that the administration deserves "all the criticism they're getting and more."

Jon Stewart suggested that Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius lied about why the law's individual mandate couldn't be delayed.

True, these liberals have a vested interest in ObamaCare's success. But that doesn't explain why Republican leaders have been so mealy-mouthed about it.

“But that doesn’t explain why Republican leaders have been so mealy-mouthed about it.”

IMO, they are basically afraid of the racist tag put upon them.

Because the GOP supports RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE,
NO MATTER WHAT.

The GOP is still led by the impostor, carpetbagger Romney,
who invented RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE.

Cruz isn’t “completely tongue-tied” about Obamacare.

the RINOs want everybody to know what great guys they are

they do not have the courage to state we strongly disagree with obama policies because they hurt people and are damaging to the economy

this is because the sniveling rats say: yer just racist in response to every criticism

so because obama is an Arab, because of his skin, he is above criticism. I say THAT is racist

>>> why are ObamaCare’s Republican enemies completely tongue-tied about this unfolding train wreck?

Because like the democrats, they think that the pain and suffering that it inflicts helps to keep them in power.

Oooo, oooo.......I know the answer! With the exception of Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, Republicans are spineless bed-wetters who just want to be liked by the media and who believe every phony poll that sneering Democrat media manufactures to show how the entire world hates Republicans.

They aren’t fit to lead.

The late, pioneering psychologist, Albert Ellis, always maintained that the dire need for approval was at the root of most neuroses; these lib pubbies display it in a big way. True conservatives seem to be comfortable in their own skins and don’t require such stroking (yes, liberalism is a mental disease, after all).

I know that McCain is heavily financed by the insurance industry. I would expect that a lot of them are as well. When the insurance industry finally figures out that they will lose their shirts, they will suddenly let the dogs out.

Orchestrated distraction designed to smooth the transition to a single-payer system: i.e., full-blown socialism.

NEVER BELIEVE THE PROPAGANDA.

They won't talk about the obamacare disaster because they don't want to admit that Ted Cruz and Mike Lee were right.
