Follow the real time Election Returns.

My guess is Booker wins by about 10%. It is NJ, after all. If Lonegan pulls this off, will be a significant upset.

I went to college in Hoboken and Hudson was notorious for machine politics. Jersey City, North Bergen, Union City and Hoboken were like 120% Democrat.

they will likely get 1 million vote turnout today ... but will they surpass 1.2 million?

Lonegan to lose by 90,000 ?

I lived north of there but still in Hudson.

911 answered the phone in Spanish in my old ‘hood.

Corrupt out the wazoo.

Total 448/6330 precincts reported
Booker 57% 65,435
Lonegan 42% 47,938

Looks like a done deal .

Thanks for the link. Agree with you 100%. If this wasn’t Special election, Booker wins by 15+. Like you said. N.J. /sigh

I still haven’t forgiven the NJ GOP for the Schundler debacle.

That I don’t know about. I left the frying pan and jumped into the fire (IL) about 17 years ago.

Interesting.. So far, only 16,000 votes and 5% separate the two. Were it not for Essex, LonegN would be leading now.

I still haven’t forgiven the NJ GOP for the Schundler debacle.

Didn't the GOP nominate Democrat Tom Kean Jr. one year, too?

The GOP abandoned Schundler in his race for governor after their ‘pet’ failed to win the primary.

The sitting pubbie governor failed to endorse him.

FWIW I voted 5pm in a Hunterdon district (GOP stronghold). The ladies at the poll said turnout was extremely heavy.....

NJ is rat state numero uno. They just retained control of that which they have completely owned.
