Republican Senator John McCain ripped conservative Senator Ted Cruz tonight before the final senate vote to approve a budget plan. McCain was on with Greta Van Susteren.
McCain has a long history of bashing his fellow Republican.

LOL!!!
Proverbs 1:7 has the answer for all of us regarding this question.
Sad to see the thinly veiled glee from the likes of weak-kneed ‘pubs like Perino and Krauthammer at the way this is turning out - afterall they predicted that it would go this way, and now they can all but say I told you so - Krauthammer complains that Obama is trying to fracture the Republicans, but no one does a better job of fracturing that party than those who supposedly belong to it and support its goals, but can’t look at the long-term picture and defend what’s going on now to try to further those goals......
The GOP has officially become the “Washington Generals” to the Democratic Party’s “Harlem Globetrotters.” They pretend to be playing ‘real’ politics while the Dems run around cheating, juggling, showboating and making them look like imbeciles.
John McCain is the Washington Generals’ point guard.
Democrat Party I mean.
Okay...confession time...
How many here voted for McCain as the lesser of two evils?
If your hand is raised then no complaining for you...
I voted for Chuck Baldwin in 2008...and took a load of crap from PhonyCon Liberals who claimed I “helped Obama win”
A vote for McCain is a vote for a Liberal. I dont vote Liberal
Wonder how many of the SquishyCons would vote for Cruz if he ran independent? Because Fox News said not to?
McCain needs to be gagged and strung up.
I don't mean this to sound as harsh as it's going to...
A vote for McCain was a vote for a man who has no fear of God. It was a vote for a man who will not bow his knee to God.
We can all lament the events tonight - but what exactly do we expect when we vote out the fear of a Demon-rat getting in versus the fear of God? God will give us a righteous man if we turn to Him.
Didn’t vote for McCain or Romney. Texas went for both but my vote was not in there. I vote for conservatives and if there isn’t a conservative, I don’t vote on that office.
Nonsense. We would have a dim in the seat now. McCain is at least 10% better than a dim.....well don’t blame me I voted for his primary opponent.
Is he?
So you would rather have a "Republican" that mocks God and becomes the enemy versus a Demon-rat that we know going in is the enemy?
Interesting...
I’ll buy that (considering the source). Thanks.
McCain that POS that relishes sticking it to conservatives.
His POW narrative has expired.
He is deserving of NO respect.
OUT with the OLD, IN with the BOLD.
Out to pasture with you McCain, you relic.
“...if you voted for mcclame,...no complaining for you...”
Interesting premise.
I voted for GWBush...complained about several things.
I bought a house...didn’t like some things about it.
I chose a restaurant...had to complain about the service.
I bought a movie ticket once...and didn’t really like the movie all that much.
I listen to Mark Levin frequently...sometimes I disagree.
I became a Catholic...and yet I struggle with some issues.
I voted for McLame/Palin in 2008...even though I despise him.
Complain when necessary, praise when necessary. Its one
or the other, isn’t it?
McCain is an asshole.
Thank you.
I voted for GWBush...complained about several things.
I've been a registered Republican for decades, but did not vote for George W. Bush because I didn't see a God-fearing man. That became even more evident when he helped push through TARP. Remember, massive deficit spending in 2008 was during his watch...
I bought a house...didnt like some things about it.
An object is not a person. It doesn't really matter if you didn't like something. Your debate path kind of falls apart here...
I chose a restaurant...had to complain about the service.
You're comparing service in a restaurant to who leads the "free" world? Okay...
I bought a movie ticket once...and didnt really like the movie all that much.
Seriously? You might want to rethink your debate strategy and try again...
I listen to Mark Levin frequently...sometimes I disagree.
Mark Levin is a talk show host who is paid to create discussion and controversy. It builds ratings.
I became a Catholic...and yet I struggle with some issues.
God has those answers if you seek His face.
I voted for McLame/Palin in 2008...even though I despise him.
Now we're down to the real point. People voted for the lesser of two evils instead of fearing God. Does anyone really believe that God honors that? Scripture doesn't teach that to be the case.
Complain when necessary, praise when necessary. Its one or the other, isnt it?
Not really. Instead we should correct when necessary and edify continually according to God's revealed Word in the Bible.
I did the same . I suspect he will be all over the Sunday shows .
“I really think part of this is that Cruz is a Freshman Senator. . . “
Plus McCain is an egomaniac who loves being in the media spotlight, a position he has earned through his maverick persona, primarily being controversial in backstabbing other Republicans. Cruz is playing the role of a true maverick and receiving huge media attention. The media whore McCain cannot stand seeing another Republican get more attention than he does.
McCain’s biggest nightmare is no longer being invited to pontificate on the Sunday talk shows. Young Cruz is earning time on the shows, and that takes away time for McCain. McCain, like an aging a wrinkled actress who is rarely offered acting roles, is jealous of the new young talent. In his heart he knows his day in the spotlight will soon pass, whether or not he assumes room temperature.
