It’s why Christie set the election date before his election date in Nov. He didn’t want the black vote coming out for Booker (Newark and Camden) to adversely affect him.

I so want out of this State. I’ve had it! I bet Christie is thrilled.

Christie cares about “Christie”, he doesn’t give a crap’s ass about ideology or party. He could care less if a RAT took the Senate seat. He’s the “Gov” and wants to run for “Prez”, he could care less who the Sen is. The facts on how he called for a Special Election and the date he chose to not conflict with his in Nov (just a couple of weeks away), plus spending the additional cost for two elections, demonstrate that.

I never got a robo-call from Christie telling me to go vote for Lonegan. I always get robo-calls on election day. Not this year.

Christie, if he had any balls, could have just appointed Lonegan as the interim Senator. But let’s face it, he really didn’t want Lonegan or any Republican for that matter to take the seat. Christie is a Democrat in sheep’s clothing. He is a good friend of Brian Stack the mayor of the hell hole(Union City) that used to be my home town.Brian Stack happens to be a huge Democrat hack and is corrupt as hell(shocker).

I’m really starting to hate NJ. I’d leave, but they would levy a $10,000 penalty on my family for doing so. Screw it, I just might leave anyway!

Yup, you hit the nail on the head!

I voted for Lonegan, but I knew that it was a lost cause for the very reasons that you stated.

On another note, when my husband left the polls yesterday, there was a pretty young girl outside with a clipboard asking him if he supported same sex marriage. His answer to her was “are you electioneering?” She was taken aback by this and stepped backwards. He than proceeded to say “of course not!” Would believe this crap. Society isn’t just circling the drain anymore. We are down the damned pipe already!!!!!

Lonegan was always a long shot. NJ elected a RINO governor, a conservative is simply a bridge too far.

The real problem in New Jersey is one that is being replicated all over the country. It's suburbanization, and it explains the dramatic political shifts that have taken place in previously "red" states like Virginia and North Carolina.

If that's true, we're in real trouble.

Cities and suburbs are the way of the future. Rural America is slowly disappearing.

No political party can be a national contender if it can't get its message to cities and suburbs nationwide. We have to start at least trying, instead of just talking to ourselves.

When you have so-called educated white people in the suburbs voting for the likes of obama, booker and Menendez, I don't think that kind of stupid can be fixed.

Where I voted it was all Seniors, people at least 70 or older. All voting blue, because they were petrified they would loose their social security if a Republican got elected. I tried to explain to them, but it’s difficult to reason with an octogenarian who still thinks this is the same country it was when he grew up in and fought in WWII for.

I learned everything about politics from Millicent Fenwick. I wish there was a way to bring her back. We need her.

Pathetic.

Well... we conservatives shout loudly about wanting strong conservative choices for candidates, because unlike squishy RINOs, surely they’d win. What this proves is... we don’t have the numbers.. at least not in New Jersey.

Now attention turns to Virginia.. with an underlying feeling of dread at the prospect of McAuliffe winning the governorship.

I dealt with the same kind of attitude with my husbands deceased grandmother. She always voted for the Democrats because she feared losing her social security. I too tried to convince her that wasn’t true. She wouldn’t hear it. It’s just so frustrating.

People vote their liberties away for a crummy little check or entitlement.

Whats it going to take for America to get jolted into reality?

I'm beginning to think conservatives in America ARE jolted to reality, but we're outnumbered by the parasites and special-interest identity-politics class.

It is a teaching lesson in that, when you move, like the junky stuff you put to the curve, put your politics also at the curve as well.

If that is seen in Clinton circles as a barrier of any kind, Princess Chelsea will be having a "procedure" done to head that off. Hillary has waited her entire evil life for this opportunity... she doesn't want to be punished with a baby.

NJ elected a RINO governor

And that was only to replace the thoroughly corrupt Jon Corzine.

Heard on the radio a week or two ago that Chessia and her husband said next year they will make 2014 the year they begin their family.
