Obama & Reed doing this is believable. I saw Reed bending over himself to praise McConnell. Is this to hurt Mitchie in the Primary? Fine by me, if you choose to sleep with dogs you should know what you’ll get. The Dems are convinced they can take out “an extremist” who beats McConnell in the primary with help of their allies in the “News” & Entertainment industries. At some point these bastards are going to be victims of their own hubris. The way things look today all we have left is hope
I have to revise my analysis of this. I thought the money was for the locks in Louisville. Turns out it’s for the locks much further downriver, bordering Illinois.
So my guess is that the request from Obama to put the money in was aimed at his Illinois construction industry buddies.
