WASHINGTON (WJZ)—Controversy over the name of Washington, D.C.’s football team is growing. Now a newspaper in Virginia says it won’t print the name Redskins. And several schools in D.C. want to ban team jerseys from their classrooms.

Keep the name, change the mascot and emblem to a potato...

I say change the name to the “Thinskins” in honor of the GOPe and replace the noble Redskin with Boehner’s weepy face.
And how about the Detroit Lions? The original Christians were gobbled up by Lions in the Colosseum.

The newspaper in question is an African American targeted weekly. In other words, hobo’s toilet paper.

It’s a business. I guarantee that as soon as it becomes obvious that they are losing money because of the name they will fold faster than flash Gordon in an origami class.
San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, St. Louis, Sacramento; all cities with religious names that have sports franchises. Going to have to relocate all those teams.
What’s the controversy? Just rename them the “Washington Politicians” and be done with it.
As a Cowboys fan and Conservative, watching this imbroglio unfold in our Nation’s seat of oppression is strangely satisfying. At minimum it’s more entertaining than any Redskins football game, that’s for sure. Much of their fan base is either bound directly to the DC big government leftist-pc complex or a byproduct of that mean machine. Oh, how disenchanting this must be when they’re made to lie in the soiled bed they made. Ideologies have consequences!

Propaganda works. This is textbook propaganda. Programmed “group-think” on a trivial subject, just exercising and testing the machinery. This is exactly how everyday Germans eventually acquiesced to the Holocaust and other atrocities.
Take note people, if you think it cannot happen here, take note.
I never thought of American Indians as an officially Hated Minority before, but I guess they are.
