British police say they were called after a string of attacks on red-haired pupils at a school in northern England.

The issue of bullying of red-haired children periodically arises in Britain, and some commentators have attributed the phenomenon to lingering anti-Celtic prejudice.

C S Lewis’ depiction of boarding school was pretty enlightening. Sodomy is a pastime there

I can help you replace that rage with fear. ;)

I can assist with that, as well. We could do an intervention.

I had to look up what you were speaking of.

“Until the 1970s, English “public schools” were walled boarding schools, educating adolescent boys only, with a strong concentration on Greek and Latin classics. They continued to be “hotbeds of pederasty” into the 20th century.[79] C. S. Lewis when talking about his life at Malvern College, an English public school, acknowledged that pederasty “was the only counterpoise to the social struggle; the one oasis (though green only with weeds and moist only with foetid water) in the burning desert of competitive ambition.”

Redheads in the UK don’t have bad tempers? My red hair and temper go together, like most others-it has been very helpful my whole life...

My youthful peers still associate red hair with foul temper and quick fists.

Yeah, we didn’t have a high opinion of red hair, until four of our children were redheads.

Apparently not, if they are being bullied. Somewhere we should have seen a story of "Tearing off gobbets of living flesh, the ginger avenged his kind".

I have never liked red hair. Unfortunately it runs heavily in my family. My Daughter had red hair until she was around two when it thankfully turned blonde.

My Niece has 3 children who are all gingers. Her middle daughter has the brightest and yet dark red hair I have ever seen, ever! I will have to admit that hers is so flaming red that it is attractive.

Adam and his son, Cain, might have been gingers, but it is known that Esau and King David were.

Maybe gingers are from the planet Mars? Mars was the Roman god of war and gingers do like to fight!

I think I see a connection!

The Dutch do have Redhead Day on the first weekend in September.
