Obamacare wins? See you in 2014 (Husseincare tax 'a marathon not a sprint')
Politico ^ | 10/18/13 | DAVID NATHER

Obamacare wins!

Now, let’s talk about that website.

**SNIP**

They also have to find enough success stories — people who have gotten their health coverage and are pleased by the experience — to counteract the comments Republicans are circulating from people who are complaining that the premiums are too high. There are people who are successfully signing up, on the federal website as well as state-run marketplaces like the one in Minnesota. But they haven’t been able to overshadow the stories of people who can’t even log in.

“Since at the end of the day, Obamacare is a marathon and not a sprint, the president and Democrats are well positioned,” said Democratic strategist Chris Lehane. But the only way to make the marathon shorter, Lehane said, is for the administration to be effective in telling the success stories.

Remember when some on the right said that if ObamaCare is not defunded it should be renamed “BoehnerCare”?

It was around this time that Boehner jumped on the Defund ObamaCare wagon.

So, should it be called BoehnerCare, McCainCare, McConnellCare, RINOCare, GOPeCare, GOPCare or something else?

I hold a lot of people responsible for this mess, but I will never call it anything else but Obamacare. Failure goes to the top... with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid right behind him!

We’re in a marathon, all right. We’re in the home stretch of the 100 year marathon to total tyranny. Perhaps, after about 100 years, the Americans will realize the error of their ways and throw off the yoke of enslavement to government.

Lol ..

Obamacare was dead on arrival. The starter gun didn’t even scare the buzzards off its carcass.

Skip out on the whole thing, including the penalty. Under the law, you can sign up for a Christian health care co-op and squeak through a loophole. Plus you’ll probably be paying way less. And as I understand it, by this method you’ll never have to go in through the software, just submit paper proof of qualifying exempt status at tax time. Starve the beast while it is young, because when it gets older, it will be able to feed itself. Just sayin ...

A sprint to get the American people to forget the lies of Dear Leader Obama, you like your policy, you can keep it,PERIOD,you like your doctor,YOU can keep him,Period, your families premium will be REDUCED by 2500 dollars. All Americans will be covered by Health insurance, the Obamabots are already admitting 30 million Americans will still not be covered when it is fully implemented,so what is the real point of this monstrosity?

Obamacare will be a horrible mess! That will not prevent the next folks from presenting it as a temporary problem to be fixed with the next election of a Democratic President.

This country can NOT advance or continue to exist when the media of today continue to bury the problems of their choice in politicians. I used to think that the “alternative” media would spread the word but the stupidity of the folks today prevent even that from happening. Get used to much worse than today - it is coming...

Obamacare does nothing at all to increase the number of doctors and nurses; it does nothing to lower the cost of health insurance; and the basic sign-up site does not work, so God knows what the rest of the IT will be like. In other words, this monstrously awful legislation was written by people who don’t know anything about health care, don’t know anything about health insurance, and don’t know anything about health care IT!

But, in keeping with the folks in charge, while they are blindingly ignorant, they don’t even know…that they don’t even know.

Perhaps, one might say, ObamaCare is a “Long March”.

It is all very well that some people may be able to now get coverage in their medical expenses, but for that one person covered better than before, ten people (or more) are going to suffer a decline in the amount of coverage, or sharp rise in the costs of whatever coverage they get, or both.

The quality of care delivered to EVERYBODY will decline, by the stress now placed on the system. There will be fewer professionals available to deliver those services, and now greater demand (read competition) for those services. When the scarcity of any commodity becomes a consideration, the price rises, or the delivery declines if the price is not allowed to rise.

And price controls on services delivered (but not on the premiums paid) are a big part of the “efficiencies” that the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010” was supposed to enforce. The other big part is the denial of services, regardless of the promises made, that are a de facto death sentence. Services delayed are services denied.

Mandates are not your friend. One size does not fit all.

...counteract the comments Republicans are circulating from people who are complaining that the premiums are too high....

Because there are NO objective journalists at Politico or the mainstream media who are interested in the facts.

Go ahead, Obamugabe enablers. You'll eventually be destroyed by the scorpion. By then it'll be too late for you.

Well positioned for an ass-kicking in '14.

If the sign up problem continues anybody that doesn’t get Obamacare will have a viable excuse for not expecting to pay a penalty. If Obama dies not eliminate the individual mandate for the first year, the GOP will run on that.

Are any if these Medishare? We know people who have that and are happy with it. These probably don’t cover as much as many employer plans, but they are still pretty good.

This one is Medishare:

http://mychristiancare.org

Medishare is probably the biggest of the three, and even has a PPO going, which I suppose makes it easier to use at the front end. There are pluses and minuses to each of them. We are thinking it through very carefully.
